MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticThe DC Multiverse presents Raven in her iconic Classic version, a 7-inch figure that captures the character’s mystical essence with advanced articulation. This Collector Edition, identified as number 69 of the line, is a vital addition for McFarlane Toys collectors seeking precision and detail in every pose.
Scene
This figure recreates Raven in her iconic classic appearance, faithful to the original 1980 DC Comics. The scene captures the moment the heroine uses her mystical ‘soul‑self’ abilities, embodying the character’s essence while acting as a member of the Teen Titans. The look is that of the original comic, with no references to movies or animated series, dedicated exclusively to the vintage design that defined the character for decades.
Character
Half human, half demon daughter of Trigon and Arella, Raven spent her childhood on Azarath, immersed in rigorous spiritual training to master her emotions and suppress her dark heritage. Her escape to Earth was not a simple choice but a vital necessity to evade the destiny her father imposed: to become the universal key to his total conquest. It is in this exile that the character gains true narrative depth, finding in the Teen Titans not only a refuge but a legitimate family and a purpose that balances internal chaos. This dynamic transforms her from a cosmic threat into a resilient figure, becoming a cornerstone of the classic continuity of the New Teen Titans and defining her role as a supernatural hero capable of balancing darkness and light.
Why collect it
For a DC Multiverse collector, figure #69 is not just an accessory but a crucial piece for line completeness. The Deluxe edition, featuring a dedicated display base and an exclusive art card, elevates the presentation from simple display to showroom piece. Owning this Classic version means holding a 1980 icon with McFarlane’s craftsmanship, an investment that merges the nostalgia of the Teen Titans golden age with modern 7‑inch figure precision. It’s the type of piece that, once positioned, instantly becomes the focal point of the collection, testament to the collector’s devotion to the most faithful and sought‑after versions of the DC multiverse.
