Discover Sallah, Indiana Jones' indispensable adventure companion, reimagined in the iconic Retro Collection style. This Hasbro action figure captures the essence of the character with a design that pays homage to the series' origins, ready to earn its rightful place in your collection.
The Scene
The figure captures the character of the bald German mechanic, a secondary but memorable antagonist from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). The depicted scene shows him in a physical confrontation with Indiana Jones in a hand‑to‑hand fight, with the iconic Flying Wing aircraft as the distinctive backdrop of the setting.
The Character
In the narrative of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Sallah transcends his role as a simple guide to become the emotional and logistical pillar of the entire expedition. In this chapter, set in 1938, his loyalty is put to a crucial test: he facilitates the recovery of Marcus Brody and enables Indy and his father, Dr. Henry Jones Sr., to confront the dangers surrounding the Holy Grail in Iskenderun. His presence is not merely technical support but a tangible demonstration of the deep bond that ties him to Indy, making him the most reliable traveling companion in the saga. For collectors of this line, Sallah embodies the very essence of classic partnership, a vital element for completing the narrative dynamic of the trio in this specific stage of the trilogy.
Why Collect It
It is not just an addition to your display, but a statement of taste for those who appreciate the history of toy design. Hasbro's Retro Collection celebrates the raw, authentic 80s aesthetic, offering a piece that goes beyond mere film merchandise to become a cult item. In a line where fidelity to the original packaging and recognizable silhouette are essential, this Sallah figure represents an emotional and visual investment: a tribute to its iconicism that stands the test of time, ensuring any Indiana Jones collection a focal point of great character and collectible authenticity.
