This 9.5 cm action figure captures the essence of the original with precise detail, designed for those seeking authenticity from the classic line in their display.
The Scene
The figure captures Arnold Toht in his distinctive look: the black coat, the jacket, and hat that accompany him throughout the entirety of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It is the exact appearance of the character as he pursues the Ark of the Covenant, faithful to the 1981 film scene.
The Character
Major Arnold Ernst Toht is not just a simple antagonist but the embodiment of the Nazi threat that drives the plot of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. As a Gestapo agent, his primary objective is to locate the Ark of the Covenant through the search for the Ra's Banner Lock. His presence is crucial to the film's narrative arc: he orchestrates the actions that force Indiana Jones to flee and defines the central conflict between good and evil in the saga. For collectors, Toht represents the ultimate villain necessary to complete the narrative dynamic of the original trilogy, alongside Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood in a display line that faithfully reconstructs the dynamics of 1980s adventure cinema.
