Panoramica
BST AXN (pronounced 'Best Action') is a 1:15-scale (approximately 5 inches tall) collectible action figure line manufactured by The Loyal Subjects (TLS), founded by CEO Jonathan Cathey.
Positioned as an accessible yet highly detailed entry in the action figure market with a standard MSRP of $15.99 to $21.99, BST AXN combines rich character sculpts with impressive dynamic articulation. In addition to standard 5-inch figures, the brand features the BST AXN XL sub-line, which scales larger characters up to 8 inches.
The line is notable for its expansive licensing scope, bringing together diverse pop culture franchises into a unified display scale. Its roster includes music icons such as KISS, AC/DC, and Guns N' Roses; classic anime series like Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, Bleach, My Hero Academia, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; television franchises like Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer; alongside deep comic book, animated, and video game iterations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Storia
The Loyal Subjects officially launched BST AXN in the fall of 2020 across major retail outlets like Walmart, Hot Topic, and local comic shops. The initial launch featured properties such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, KISS, Guns N' Roses, and The Lord of the Rings.
By 2021, the line expanded rapidly into major pop culture television properties, debuting its widely popular 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series alongside Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gremlins, and Garbage Pail Kids.
In 2022, BST AXN introduced specialized decos, including the TMNT Arcade Game Series with video game shading, alongside retail and convention exclusives like black-and-white battle-damaged Turtle multipacks. The lineup evolved further in 2023 with the launch of the 8-inch BST AXN XL sub-line for larger characters like Krang in Android Body and Appa, as well as vehicle bundles featuring Turtle motorcycles with removable helmets. Between 2023 and 2024, TLS partnered with IDW Publishing to release figure sets bundled with full 100-page comic books featuring artwork by Mateus Santolouco. In 2025 and 2026, the brand expanded into transforming vehicle-and-figure hybrids through Hasbro's M.A.S.K. revival line, alongside master toy partnerships for gaming properties such as Palworld.

Collezionismo
BST AXN offers collectors an entry point into multi-franchise collecting by combining affordable pricing with high poseability. With standard figures retailing between $15.99 and $21.99, the 1:15 scale allows collectors to build expansive rosters across anime, television, and classic rock without consuming massive amounts of display space.
From a market value perspective, secondary interest is driven by convention exclusives and retailer-specific multi-packs. Releases such as San Diego Comic-Con glow-in-the-dark variants, PREVIEWS Exclusive Mirage Comics box sets, IDW 'Comic Noir' editions, and gold-coat motorcycle bundles hold key positions among completionists. With expansion into vehicle lines like Hasbro's M.A.S.K. and comic-bundled figure sets, BST AXN continues to attract both retro toy enthusiasts and modern action figure collectors.

The line features real-world music legends alongside fictional characters, including Gene Simmons (The Demon), Angus Young, and Slash.
