DEADPOOL
Deadpool (Wade Winston Wilson) is Marvel's iconic Merc with a Mouth, famous for his superhuman regenerative healing factor, chaotic sense of humor, and signature ability to break the fourth wall. Cronologia
Biografia

Wade Winston Wilson is a Canadian-born mercenary equipped with an extraordinary cellular healing factor derived from the Weapon X program.
Marked by severe physical disfigurement and mental instability, Deadpool operates as an unpredictable mercenary-for-hire, hero, and occasional team member of groups like X-Force.
Uniquely aware of his existence as a fictional character, he regularly breaks the fourth wall to address audiences, comic writers, and movie directors directly. Operating out of Sister Margaret's School for Wayward Girls in New York City, Wade built a community alongside companions such as bartender Weasel, Blind Al, and his true love Vanessa Carlysle. Over his career, his missions have scaled from street-level contract kills to multiverse-spanning operations alongside the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and mutants like Wolverine and Cable, continually balancing extreme violence with genuine heroic motives.
Storia

Born in Regina, Canada in 1975, Wade Wilson grew up in an abusive household before enlisting in the United States Special Forces, completing 41 confirmed kills prior to a dishonorable discharge. He subsequently turned to mercenary work. After meeting and proposing to Vanessa Carlysle, Wade was diagnosed with late-stage terminal cancer.
Desperate to survive, he accepted an offer from a representative of the Weapon X program, who promised a complete cure and superhuman abilities. Under the brutal supervision of scientist Ajax (Francis), Wade was subjected to excruciating psychological and physical experiments intended to force the activation of his dormant mutant gene.
The torturous process successfully triggered a powerful regenerative healing factor that cured his cancer, but permanently disfigured his body and fractured his sanity. Taking the name 'Deadpool' from Sister Margaret's bar betting pool, Wade destroyed the facility, escaped, and set out to hunt down Ajax to fix his face and reclaim his life.

Evoluzione
Deadpool's evolution over three decades represents one of the most remarkable character arcs in Marvel history. Debuting in 1991's 'The New Mutants' #98 under creators Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld, Wade Wilson was originally depicted as a grim, straightforward assassin hired to eliminate Cable. However, when writer Joe Kelly launched the character's first ongoing series in 1997, Deadpool was completely re-imagined.
Kelly introduced fourth-wall awareness, dark slapstick humor, and emotional depth rooted in physical disfigurement and mental illness. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, Deadpool transitioned from a cult-favorite antihero into a main-line Marvel star. Unlikely pairings like 'Cable & Deadpool', high-concept miniseries like 'Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe', and team positions in 'Uncanny X-Force' demonstrated his versatility. Transcending comic pages, Ryan Reynolds' live-action film trilogy (2016–2024) elevated Deadpool into a $1.3-billion global box office icon, culminating in his formal integration into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Da Collezione
For action figure enthusiasts and statue collectors, Deadpool is an absolute powerhouse. In the 1/6 scale arena, Hong Kong manufacturer Hot Toys leads the pack with movie-accurate figures from 'Deadpool', 'Deadpool 2', and 'Deadpool & Wolverine', complete with textured fabric suits, interchangeable eye lenses, and fully tailored arsenals.
On the 6-inch mass market side, Hasbro's Marvel Legends line offers unmatched variety, producing classic comic red-and-black suits, blue/gray X-Force variations, and cinematic figures that form the backbone of many Marvel displays. Statue collectors frequently target high-end resin pieces from Sideshow Collectibles and Iron Studios, which showcase Wade in acrobatic battle poses on explosive diorama bases. Key comic keys like 'The New Mutants' #98 (1991) and early Hot Toys releases experience recurring value spikes around major film releases, making high-grade Deadpool collectibles both prized centerpieces and strong secondary market assets.

Deadpool's healing factor is so potent that he once cut off his own hand without showing pain and can regenerate complete limbs.
