ROXAS
Roxas is the Nobody of Sora and a former member of Organization XIII, recognized as the 'Key of Destiny.' Uniquely among Nobodies, he possesses a heart and complex emotions due to his connection with the ancient Keyblade wielder Ventus.
Cronologia
Biografia
Roxas is the Nobody of Sora, the central protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series. Unlike typical Nobodies who lack hearts and emotions, Roxas possesses his own heart because Ventus's heart remained with Sora during the creation of the Nobody.
This unique circumstance makes him deeply emotional, prone to quick anger, and fiercely protective of his own identity. He is often characterized by a stoic and melancholic disposition compared to Sora’s cheerful nature, frequently questioning his existence and the motives of those around him.
Throughout the story, Roxas transitions from a confused 'newborn' within Organization XIII to a defiant warrior seeking the truth. He is a tragic figure who initially believes he has no right to exist, only to eventually find his place as a hero in his own right. His journey is one of the most poignant in the franchise, centered on the struggle for individuality and the strength of the bonds he forms with friends.
Storia
Roxas was born in Twilight Town when Sora sacrificed himself to save Kairi during the events of the first Kingdom Hearts.
He was discovered by Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII, who gave him his name—an anagram of 'Sora' with the addition of the letter 'X' (the Recusant's Sigil).
Because he lacked Sora's memories, Roxas spent his early days in a 'zombie-like' state, slowly learning about the world through the guidance of Axel. His physical appearance is identical to Ventus, a Keyblade wielder from the past whose heart sought refuge within Sora's heart, directly influencing the form Sora's Nobody took.
Evoluzione
Roxas’s evolution is a journey from emptiness to self-actualization. He begins as a blank slate, an unresponsive 'zombie' without memories, who slowly develops a personality through his daily rituals of eating sea-salt ice cream with Axel and Xion.
His growth is marked by a growing defiance; he refuses to be a mere tool for the Organization or a shadow of Sora. By the events of Kingdom Hearts III, he transcends his status as a Nobody by gaining a physical replica body, finally becoming a complete and independent person capable of co-existing with his original self.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Roxas is a cornerstone character with high-demand figures across several premium lines. The 'grails' of any collection usually include the Play Arts Kai and Bring Arts dual-wielding versions, which feature his iconic Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades and are highly sought after for their articulation.
Recently, the 'Form-ism' line by Square Enix (released April 2026) has gained traction among fans for its high-quality static sculpt of Roxas in his casual Twilight Town attire. Value trends for Roxas merchandise remain strong, especially for limited editions tied to the 358/2 Days era, as he remains one of the most popular characters in the franchise’s secondary market.

His physical appearance is identical to Ventus because Ventus's heart was residing in Sora's heart at the time of Roxas's creation.
