Cronologia
Biografia
Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka is the supreme commander of the Ork forces and the self-proclaimed Prophet of the Waaagh!. Born as a common 'Boy' in the Deathskulls tribe on the planet Urk, he rose to prominence through a combination of brutal violence and divine inspiration.
Following a traumatic head injury, Ghazghkull began hearing the voices of the Ork gods, Gork and Mork, which compelled him to unify the disparate and warring Ork clans under a single, massive banner.
Throughout his history, he has become the ultimate nemesis of the Imperium of Man, most notably during the Second and Third Wars for Armageddon. Unlike typical Orks who rely solely on brute force, Ghazghkull is a tactical genius who learns from his enemies. He views combat not just as a means of conquest, but as a holy trial, often sparing worthy rivals to ensure the 'fight' never truly ends. His influence now spans the galaxy, from the Octarius Sector to the shattered remains of Armageddon.
Storia
Ghazghkull’s legend began on the backwater world of Urk. During a raid on a Space Marine outpost, a bolter shell tore through his skull, destroying approximately 30% of his brain.
He was brought to the deranged Painboy known as Mad Dok Grotsnik, who performed a experimental surgery by replacing the missing portions of Ghazghkull's cranium with adamantium plates. This procedure inadvertently unlocked Ghazghkull's latent psychic potential, allowing him to perceive the 'will' of the Ork gods.
He quickly consolidated power on Urk by killing rival warbosses. When the planet's sun began to fail, Ghazghkull interpreted the arrival of a Space Hulk as a divine sign. Renaming the vessel 'Wurld Killa,' he led his newly unified Orks into the void. His early campaigns established his reputation, leading to the massive invasion of Armageddon where he first encountered his greatest human rival, Commissar Sebastian Yarrick. This rivalry would define centuries of conflict, leading to multiple invasions and the eventual expansion of his power into a pan-galactic threat.
Evoluzione
Ghazghkull’s evolution is both spiritual and physical. Initially a simple Deathskulls trooper, he became a 'Prophet' following his first brain surgery by Grotsnik. Over centuries, he grew significantly in size, fueled by the psychic energy of his growing Waaagh!. His most radical transformation occurred during the 'Saga of the Beast' in the Era Indomitus.
After being decapitated by the Space Wolf Ragnar Blackmane, his head was kept alive and eventually transplanted onto a massive, heavily armored Cybork frame. This new form made him one of the largest and most powerful Orks in history, cementing his status as a near-demigod. Mentally, he has evolved from a brawler into a leader who understands the value of a 'good fight,' even showing tactical restraint to prolong conflicts for the sake of Orkish growth.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Ghazghkull Thraka is a centerpiece figure manufactured exclusively by Games Workshop. The most iconic modern model is the massive 'Prophet of the Waaagh!' plastic kit, which depicts his post-decapitation cybernetic form.
In 2026, a limited-edition 'Armageddon Veterans' upgrade kit was released, featuring battle-damaged components to match his appearance in the 11th Edition lore. Collectors also hunt for the original 1990s metal miniatures and the 'Saga of the Beast' box set components. His models are highly sought after due to their immense size and the intricate detail of his mechanical Power Klaw and adamantium skull plates. The 'Armageddon' 11th Edition launch set remains the current 'grail' for many Ork players due to its exclusive campaign materials.

A Gretchin named Makari is his official banner-bearer and has survived (or been replaced) across multiple centuries of service.
