Jon's origins are rooted in a multiversal crisis. He was born on the planet Telos during the Convergence event, with his birth assisted by an alternate-reality Batman (Thomas Wayne).
Following the collapse of the Multiverse, his family was transported to the main DC Earth (the New 52 era), where they lived in hiding under the surname "White." For nine years, Jon was unaware of his father's true identity until his own Kryptonian abilities, beginning with invulnerability, started to manifest.
After the events of "Superman Reborn" merged the family's history into the main timeline, Jon stepped into the spotlight as the official Superboy.
