Luke Skywalker is the central figure in the struggle against the Galactic Empire. Initially a simple farm boy on the desert planet of Tatooine, Luke's discovery of a hidden message within the droid R2-D2 set him on a path to join the Rebel Alliance.
Under the guidance of Obi-Wan Kenobi and later Master Yoda, he transitioned from a talented pilot into the last of the Jedi, ultimately facing and redeeming his father, the Sith Lord Darth Vader, to defeat Emperor Palpatine.
Following the fall of the Empire, Luke attempted to restore the Jedi Order. However, after the tragic fall of his nephew Ben Solo to the dark side, Luke chose a life of exile on the remote planet of Ahch-To. He eventually returned to the fight in spirit, using a powerful Force projection to save the Resistance and ensure the survival of hope in the galaxy, before becoming one with the Force.

Luke was born to Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker at the conclusion of the Clone Wars.
To protect him from his father's new master, Emperor Palpatine, he was hidden on Tatooine with his aunt Beru and uncle Owen Lars.
For nearly two decades, Luke grew up unaware of his true heritage, spending his days as a moisture farmer and his free time piloting T-16 Skyhoppers through Beggar’s Canyon. Throughout his youth, he was secretly watched over by the exiled Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who protected him from threats like Tusken Raiders and Imperial Inquisitors until the moment arrived for Luke to embrace his destiny.
