ANAKIN SKYWALKER
Anakin Skywalker is the central figure of the Star Wars 'Skywalker Saga,' a hero of the Clone Wars who famously fell to the dark side as Darth Vader. Prophesied as the Chosen One destined to bring balance to the Force, his tragic journey from a slave on Tatooine to a Sith Lord and his eventual redemption through his son, Luke, remains the most iconic arc in cinematic history.
Cronologia
Biografia
Anakin Skywalker is the primary protagonist and antagonist of the overarching Star Wars narrative. Discovered as a young slave with an unprecedented connection to the Force, he was trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi and became a legendary Jedi Knight and General during the Clone Wars.
Known for his exceptional piloting skills and tactical brilliance, he led the 501st Legion against the Separatist droid armies. Despite his status as a hero of the Republic, Anakin's path was marred by fear and a forbidden marriage to Senator Padmé Amidala.
His inability to let go of those he loved, combined with the manipulation of Chancellor Palpatine, led to his ultimate fall. Reborn as the cybernetic Sith Lord Darth Vader, he served the Galactic Empire for decades before sacrificing himself to save his son, Luke, fulfilling the prophecy of the Chosen One and finding peace in the Force.
Storia
Anakin was born in 41 BBY on the desert planet of Tatooine to Shmi Skywalker, who claimed he was conceived without a father. Living as a slave, first under the Hutt Gardulla and later for the junk dealer Watto, Anakin's childhood was defined by labor and a natural talent for engineering.
He famously built the protocol droid C-3PO from scrap parts to assist his mother with household chores. His life changed in 32 BBY during the Invasion of Naboo when Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn discovered him.
Despite being a human, Anakin's Force-enhanced reflexes allowed him to be a competitive podracer, eventually winning his freedom in the Boonta Eve Classic. Although the Jedi High Council was wary of his age and emotional attachments, Qui-Gon's belief in Anakin as the Chosen One set him on the path to Coruscant, leaving his mother behind with a promise to return and free her.

Evoluzione
Anakin Skywalker’s evolution is a study in character transformation. He began as an innocent, altruistic child who believed in helping others without reward. As a Padawan, he struggled with pride and the rigidity of the Jedi Code, feeling held back by those he respected.
The Clone Wars saw him mature into a charismatic leader, yet the loss of his mother and the constant violence of the era hardened him. His ultimate transformation into Darth Vader stripped him of his humanity, leaving a cold, mechanical figure fueled by self-hatred. It was only in his final moments that he shed the Vader persona, returning to his identity as Anakin to bring balance to the Force.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader represent the 'holy grail' of any Star Wars collection. High-end manufacturers like Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles are famous for their 1/6 scale figures, with the 'Revenge of the Sith' Anakin and the battle-damaged 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' series Vader being highly sought-after secondary market items.
LEGO Star Wars continues to produce evergreen sets such as his Jedi Interceptor and various iterations of the Darth Vader transformation chamber. Value trends typically spike following new screen appearances, such as the 2026 'Maul: Shadow Lord' series. Hasbro's 'The Black Series' remains the go-to for 6-inch scale collectors, often releasing limited-edition figures featuring his various appearances throughout the Skywalker Saga.
Anakin was the only human capable of podracing on Tatooine due to his Force-heightened reflexes.
