NED LEEDS
Ned Leeds is Peter Parker’s loyal best friend and technical support, famously known as the 'guy in the chair' within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Transitioning from a tech-savvy high schooler to a student of latent magical heritage, Ned is an essential anchor in Spider-Man’s journey across the multiverse.
Cronologia
Biografia

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Edward 'Ned' Leeds is the ultimate companion to Peter Parker. A Filipino-American student at Midtown School of Science and Technology, Ned is defined by his unwavering loyalty and his role as Peter’s primary confidant.
He is the first person to discover Peter’s secret identity, transforming his admiration for superheroes into a functional role as Spider-Man’s mission controller. Throughout his high school years, Ned navigated global threats, including the Vulture's scavenged tech and Mysterio’s elemental illusions.
Despite being 'snapped' out of existence for five years, he remained Peter’s closest ally upon his return. His role shifted significantly during the multiversal crisis, where he discovered a latent ability to manipulate mystic arts, which ultimately led to the bittersweet conclusion of his memories of Peter being erased to save their reality.
Storia

Ned Leeds grew up in Queens, New York, forming a deep bond with Peter Parker over shared interests in science and pop culture.
Their friendship was cemented through collaborative projects like building a LEGO Death Star and participating in the school's Academic Decathlon team.
Unlike his comic book counterpart, who began as a reporter for the Daily Bugle, the MCU Ned provides a more youthful, supportive origin for the character, representing the perspective of a civilian who suddenly finds himself in a world of gods and monsters.
Evoluzione
Ned Leeds has undergone one of the most radical transformations in the MCU. He began as a pure comic-relief character, obsessed with being the 'guy in the chair' for a local hero.
However, his experiences with the Avengers and the multiverse matured him into a capable technical and magical asset. By the events of 'Brand New Day' (2026), Ned has moved beyond a secondary role; he is an independent university student whose innate curiosity and technical genius lead him to investigate the very hero he once assisted, though he no longer remembers their personal connection.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Ned Leeds is a unique figure as he represents the 'everyman' of the MCU. Hasbro has produced a highly sought-after Marvel Legends 2-pack featuring Ned alongside Peter Parker from 'Homecoming,' which is considered a staple for movie-accurate displays. Funko has released several Pop!
Vinyl variants, including the popular 'No Way Home' version where Ned is wearing Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation and holding a Sling Ring. While high-end brands like Hot Toys often focus on suited heroes, custom collectors frequently use Ned figures to populate 1/6 scale Daily Bugle or Midtown High dioramas. His inclusion in LEGO sets, specifically those recreating the school bus or the Sanctum Sanctorum, makes him a common but essential piece for completists.

Ned's grandmother's house in 'No Way Home' served as the first meeting point for all three cinematic Spider-Men.
