MEGUMI FUSHIGURO

Cronologia
Biografia
Megumi Fushiguro is a central protagonist in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, characterized by his aloof, calculating nature and distinctive spiked hair—often compared to a sea urchin. As a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, he operates as a Grade 2 sorcerer with potential that rivals even his mentor, Satoru Gojo.
Unlike many of his peers, Megumi is driven by a personal sense of justice, choosing to save people 'unfairly' based on his own moral judgment rather than rigid sorcery traditions. Throughout the narrative, Megumi transitions from a reserved student to a key player in the survival of the jujutsu world.
His journey is marked by high-stakes battles, including the Shibuya Incident and the Culling Game. His story reaches a tragic peak when he is forcibly chosen as the vessel for the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Despite enduring immense emotional trauma and the loss of his sister, Tsumiki, Megumi survives the Shinjuku Showdown to lead the rebuilding of the Zenin Clan's legacy.
Storia
Born into the Zenin lineage but raised outside the clan, Megumi is the son of the 'Sorcerer Killer' Toji Fushiguro.
After his father abandoned him and his step-sister Tsumiki, the two were left to fend for themselves until Satoru Gojo intervened.
Gojo recognized Megumi's inherited Ten Shadows Technique and took him under his protection, shielding him from the political machinations of the Zenin Clan. Megumi spent his middle school years as a stoic brawler, frequently fighting bullies to protect his sister's ideals. However, after Tsumiki was placed under a mysterious curse, Megumi committed himself fully to becoming a jujutsu sorcerer, viewing it as the only path to potentially saving her.
Evoluzione
Megumi's growth is a shift from potential to realization. Initially, he was a sorcerer who held himself back, often looking for a 'suicide play' via the Mahoraga ritual when faced with superior foes.
Under Gojo's tutelage and through his rivalry with Yuji, he learned to be more selfish and ambitious, leading to the manifestation of his incomplete Domain Expansion. By the end of the Shinjuku Showdown, Megumi's evolution is physical and emotional; he carries permanent facial scars from Sukuna's possession and has matured into a leader determined to rebuild the Zenin Clan from the ground up, moving past his childhood jadedness.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Megumi Fushiguro is a staple figure in the Jujutsu Kaisen lineup, typically sought after for pieces that showcase his 'Ten Shadows' hand signs. Premium brands like S.H.Figuarts and Figma have produced highly articulated versions that allow fans to recreate his shikigami summoning poses.
The most 'grail' level items often include his Divine Dog: Totality or the massive Max Elephant as part of the base sculpt. Following the release of the final manga volumes and the 2026 Season 3 anime, figures featuring his post-Shinjuku scars have become high-value rarities. Collectors should look for statues that emphasize the ink-like texture of his shadows, as these are considered the most authentic representations of the MAPPA and Akutami art styles.

He usually summons Max Elephant alone because it consumes a massive amount of cursed energy.
