ELEVEN
Eleven, born Jane Ives, is the telekinetic heart of the Stranger Things franchise. A former government test subject with immense psychokinetic abilities, she transitioned from a traumatized lab runaway to the primary defender of Hawkins against the horrors of the Upside Down.
Cronologia
Biografia
Eleven is the core protagonist and ultimate protector within the Stranger Things universe.
Initially appearing as a terrified runaway with a buzzed head and a penchant for Eggo waffles, she quickly evolves into the primary shield between the town of Hawkins and the interdimensional threats of the Upside Down.
Her journey is defined by her struggle for autonomy and the search for her own identity outside of being a government weapon. Throughout the series, she is portrayed as the only force capable of matching the power of the Upside Down's architects. After being adopted by Jim Hopper and forming a deep romantic bond with Mike Wheeler, Eleven learns that her humanity and emotional connections are the true sources of her strength, rather than just the trauma of her past experiments.
Storia
Born Jane Ives in 1971 to Terry Ives, a participant in the MKUltra experiments, Eleven was abducted at birth by Dr. Martin Brenner.
Raised in isolation at Hawkins National Laboratory as '011', she was subjected to sensory deprivation and psychedelic drugs to expand her psychic potential. In 1979, she befriended a friendly orderly who was revealed to be Henry Creel (001).
After being tricked into removing his 'Soteria' suppressant, Eleven witnessed Creel massacre the other lab subjects. In a display of unprecedented power, she defeated him in a psychic duel, inadvertently banishing him to Dimension X where he would become Vecna. In 1983, while attempting to spy on a Soviet agent, she accidentally opened the 'Mothergate' to the Upside Down, allowing her to escape into the surrounding woods.
Evoluzione
Eleven’s growth is marked by her shifting relationship with her own power and humanity. In the early seasons, her abilities are a source of trauma, used primarily for survival and defense. By Season 3, she experiences the vulnerability of 'normalcy,' losing her powers and moving away from Hawkins to live with the Byers family.
Her return to Hawkins Lab in Season 4 to undergo Project NINA represents a crucial turning point where she confronts her repressed memories to reclaim her strength. In the final battle, she evolves from a victim of science into a selfless leader, choosing to face the Abyss to seal the gates between worlds forever, ultimately leading to her status as a hidden legend in the series' epilogue.
Da Collezione
Eleven is a cornerstone of the modern collectibles market, with Funko Pops being the most prolific entry point for fans. High-value 'grails' include the original Season 1 Chase variant with her blonde wig and the specialized 'NINA Project' versions from Season 4.
For premium collectors, brands like Threezero have released highly detailed sixth-scale figures featuring fabric clothing and realistic head sculpts. Value trends typically spike following season finales, particularly for limited edition convention exclusives and articulated statues from Bandai that capture her iconic battle poses. As the franchise transitioned into animation with 'Tales from '85', new stylized figures have become a trending focus for completionists.
In the animated series, her character is voiced by Brooklyn Davey Norstedt instead of Millie Bobby Brown.
