JOYCE BYERS

Joyce Byers is the tenacious emotional anchor of Hawkins, Indiana, a mother whose unwavering maternal intuition first exposed the existence of the Upside Down. Portrayed by Winona Ryder, she evolved from a dismissed 'hysterical' mother into a seasoned investigator and survivalist who led the fight across two continents to protect her family.
