GOHAN
Son Gohan is the first son of Goku and Chichi, a half-Saiyan warrior-scholar whose immense latent potential has made him one of the most powerful beings in the Dragon Ball multiverse. Named after his father's adoptive grandfather, his journey from a timid child to the conqueror of the Beast form is a central pillar of the franchise.
Cronologia
Biografia
Son Gohan is a pivotal figure in the Dragon Ball universe, serving as a bridge between the legacy of his father, Goku, and the future of Earth's defense.
As a hybrid of Saiyan and Human blood, Gohan possesses a unique biological potential that often surpasses pure-blooded warriors when triggered by emotional stress.
Despite his martial prowess, Gohan is defined by his gentle nature and his primary ambition to be a scholar, a trait encouraged by his mother, Chichi. In recent years, Gohan has returned to the forefront of the franchise's power scale. Following a period focused on his academic career and family life with his wife Videl and daughter Pan, he re-entered serious training for the Tournament of Power. Most recently, he achieved a devastating new level of power known as 'Gohan Beast' during the conflict with Cell Max, reaffirming his status as a top-tier protector of the multiverse.
Storia
Gohan was born on Earth and named after his adoptive great-grandfather, Grandpa Gohan, the man who originally found and raised Goku.
His peaceful early childhood was shattered at the age of four when his uncle Raditz arrived, leading to the revelation of his Saiyan heritage and the death of his father.
This event forced Gohan into a harsh year of survival and combat training under Piccolo, the Namekian who would become his lifelong mentor and surrogate father figure. These origins established the recurring theme of Gohan's life: the constant struggle to balance his desire for peace with the necessity of combat.
Evoluzione
Gohan’s evolution is a journey of reconciling two identities: the peace-loving scholar and the unstoppable warrior. Initially a 'crybaby' whose power only appeared in desperate bursts, he became the first warrior to reach Super Saiyan 2, surpassing his father during the Cell Games.
After retreating into academia during his young adulthood, his evolution reached a new phase in 'Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.' He has finally accepted that his strength is a necessary tool to protect his family, evolving into the unique Beast form that distinguishes his power from the god-tier paths of Goku and Vegeta.
Da Collezione
Gohan is a high-value character for collectors, with products spanning decades. The S.H. Figuarts line by Tamashii Nations remains the gold standard, with a newly announced Limited Edition 'Z-Fighter Gohan' scheduled for November 2026.
Figures capturing his iconic Super Saiyan 2 pose from the Cell Saga are perennial favorites, while the recently released Gohan Beast statues from brands like Banpresto and Ichibansho are current market grails. Value trends show that 'Future Gohan' variants and vintage 90s era figures from the Super Butōden period maintain high secondary market prices.
Gohan once wore a green tracksuit during his 'Resurrection F' era when he was out of practice.
