GERALD CRANE

Gerald Crane is a haunting figure in the DC Universe, primarily known as the father of Jonathan Crane and the original mastermind behind the fear-based research that would eventually spawn the Scarecrow. A former biology teacher whose own trauma fueled a descent into madness, he serves as the psychological foundation for one of Batman's most enduring villains.
