Cronologia
Biography
Sven is Kristoff's loyal reindeer companion, sleigh-puller, and moral conscience in Disney's Frozen franchise. Created by directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Sven possesses the endearing heart and playful behavior of a Labrador retriever.
Though he does not speak, he communicates expressively through emphatic snorts, stern glances, and dramatic pity faces, while Kristoff frequently voices Sven's thoughts using a goofy "reindeer voice." Despite his occasionally clumsy nature and childlike fascination with simple things like snowflakes or frozen vines, Sven is a brave and selfless hero.
He acts as Kristoff's guide whenever the mountain man acts selfishly, repeatedly urging him toward doing the right thing. His animal vocal effects are performed by legendary voice actor Frank Welker.
Backstory
Sven's story begins during his childhood as an orphaned fawn.
While accompanying a young Kristoff during an ice harvest, the pair followed Arendelle's royal family into the Valley of the Living Rock.
There, they were taken in and adopted by a female troll named Bulda. Raised among the trolls, Sven and Kristoff formed an unbreakable lifelong bond. Upon reaching adulthood, the pair ventured out on their own to establish an independent ice-harvesting business before being swept into the grand events surrounding Queen Elsa's magical freezing of Arendelle.
