JASON TODD
Jason Todd is one of DC Comics' most compelling anti-heroes, famously known for his transformation from Batman's second Robin to the lethal vigilante Red Hood. His journey is defined by a tragic death at the hands of the Joker and a complex resurrection that forever changed the dynamic of the Bat-Family.
Cronologia
Biografia

Jason Todd is a street-tough vigilante who served as the second Robin before adopting the persona of the Red Hood. Originally a street orphan from Gotham's Park Row, he was taken in by Bruce Wayne after attempting to steal the tires off the Batmobile.
As Robin, he was more volatile and aggressive than his predecessor, Dick Grayson, a trait that eventually led to his tragic encounter with the Joker in Ethiopia, where he was brutally murdered.
Following his resurrection via the Lazarus Pit and training by the All-Caste and the League of Assassins, Jason returned to Gotham as a lethal anti-hero. He initially sought vengeance against Batman for not killing the Joker, but eventually found a middle ground as a morally gray protector. In recent years, he has led teams like the Outlaws and Task Force Z, and has even attempted to move away from lethal firearms to reconcile with his former mentor.
Storia

Jason's origins vary across DC's history. In his Post-Crisis origin, he was the son of Willis and Catherine Todd, raised in the poverty-stricken Crime Alley.
His father was a criminal who supposedly died in prison, while his mother suffered from drug addiction. After his mother’s death, Jason lived on the streets until he met Batman. After a period of intensive training, he became Robin.
His life took a dark turn when he discovered his birth mother was alive in the Middle East; however, it was a trap set by the Joker. Jason was beaten with a crowbar and killed in a warehouse explosion. Years later, he was resurrected, his mind and body restored by Talia al Ghul and the mystical Lazarus Pit, leading him to reject Batman's code of non-lethal justice.
Evoluzione
Jason Todd has undergone one of the most drastic evolutions in comic history. He began as a bright-eyed circus performer (Pre-Crisis) and was later reimagined as a cynical street orphan (Post-Crisis). His death in 1988 was a turning point for the DC Universe, representing Batman's greatest failure.
Upon his return in 2005, he transitioned from a villainous foil to Batman into a complex anti-hero. Recent storylines show Jason evolving further, moving away from his reliance on lethal force and guns in an attempt to find his own path outside of Batman's shadow, most notably seen in his move to the city of New Angelique in 2025.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Jason Todd is a heavy hitter, specifically in his Red Hood persona. The 'grail' for many is the Hot Toys Arkham Knight/Red Hood 1/6th scale figure, known for its high level of detail and swappable armor pieces.
McFarlane Toys has made Red Hood a staple of their DC Multiverse line, producing numerous variations including the 'Three Jokers' version and the 'Gotham Knights' design. For high-end statue collectors, Iron Studios and Prime 1 Studio offer premium pieces that capture his aggressive combat stance. Values for early appearances like Batman #357 and the 'A Death in the Family' issues remain high-demand items for comic investors.

In the 'DC All In' initiative, Jason leaves Gotham to operate in a corrupt new city called New Angelique.
