MIMIKO HASABA

Cronologia
Biografia
Mimiko Hasaba is a supporting antagonist in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, characterized by her unwavering loyalty to Suguru Geto. Along with her twin sister Nanako, she was a survivor of extreme persecution who found a new purpose within Geto's inner circle.
Mimiko is typically seen as a quiet but lethal sorcerer, often identifiable by her navy blue sailor fuku and the macabre stuffed doll she carries as a medium for her cursed technique.
Throughout the story, Mimiko transitions from a front-line soldier in the 'Night Parade of a Hundred Demons' to a desperate survivor seeking to reclaim the remains of her savior. Her journey is defined by her hatred for non-sorcerers—whom she views through the lens of her childhood trauma—and her willingness to take extreme risks, even confronting the King of Curses, Sukuna, to honor Geto's memory.
Storia
Born around 2002 in a rural village, Mimiko and her sister Nanako suffered horrific abuse from non-sorcerer villagers who feared their ability to see curses.
In September 2007, they were found imprisoned in a cage by Suguru Geto during a mission.
Moved by their plight and disgusted by the cruelty of 'monkeys' (non-sorcerers), Geto massacred all 112 villagers to rescue the girls. Following this incident, Geto adopted the twins, raising them as his daughters and loyal followers. This formative event cemented Mimiko's belief in Geto's extremist ideology and her deep-seated loathing for humanity.
Evoluzione
Mimiko's evolution is marked by a shift from a helpless victim to a confident, albeit fanatical, sorcerer. In the 2007 flashbacks, she is a silent, traumatized child.
By the 2017 events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, she has become a stylish and efficient killer, adopting a modern 'sailor fuku' look and expressing open contempt for non-sorcerers. Her final evolution in the Shibuya Incident (2018) shows a more mature appearance with longer hair and a personality driven by intense grief. Her desperation leads her to abandon caution, culminating in her fatal decision to approach Sukuna in a last-ditch effort to reclaim Geto’s identity from Kenjaku.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Mimiko Hasaba items are often sought after as part of 'Twin Sets' alongside Nanako. Bandai released a notable set of 'legacy' charms in late 2025 as part of the Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Mejirushi collection, featuring the twins in their iconic looks.
While she does not have as many standalone scale figures as the main cast, her presence in the 'Phantom Parade' mobile game has led to exclusive digital and physical card collectibles. Fans also target merchandise from the 2021 film and the 2025 stage play, where her character design with the voodoo doll makes for highly distinctive and sought-after accessory pieces.

The English dub actress for Mimiko, Sarah Anne Williams, also voices the characters Akari Nitta and Ui Ui.
