Cronologia
Biografia
Han Solo is one of the most iconic figures in the Star Wars galaxy, known for his transition from a cynical smuggler to a general of the Rebel Alliance. Born on Corellia, he became a master pilot and a freelance "lawbender," often operating on the fringes of society with his loyal Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca.
Despite his initial reluctance to join political causes, Solo’s involvement with Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa led him to play a pivotal role in the Galactic Civil War, where he helped destroy two Death Stars and eventually became a father and leader in the New Republic.
Throughout his career, Han navigated the lawless sectors of the galaxy, frequently clashing with authority figures like the Corporate Sector Authority and powerful crime lords like Jabba the Hutt. His life was defined by high-stakes gambles, including winning the Millennium Falcon in a game of Sabacc and making the legendary Kessel Run. Even in his later years, after returning to his smuggling roots following the fall of his son to the dark side, Han remained a symbol of courage, ultimately sacrificing his life in an attempt to redeem his son on Starkiller Base.
Storia
Han's origins are rooted in the industrial shipyards of Corellia, where he grew up as an orphan and "scrumrat" working for the White Worms gang under Lady Proxima.
Seeking a life of freedom, he escaped the planet but was forced to leave his first love, Qi’ra, behind. To flee Corellia, he joined the Imperial Navy, where he received the surname "Solo" from a recruiter.
His military career was short-lived; he was expelled for insubordination and sent to the infantry on Mimban. It was there he met Chewbacca, and the two deserted the Empire to join Tobias Beckett's crew. This partnership led him into the world of smuggling and eventually to Lando Calrissian, from whom he won the Millennium Falcon.

Evoluzione
Han Solo’s character arc is defined by the transition from self-preservation to selfless sacrifice. Initially portrayed as a materialist concerned only with paying off debts to Jabba the Hutt, he evolves into a true believer in the Rebellion's cause. This transformation is catalyzed by his bond with Luke and his love for Leia.
In his later years, Han’s character takes on a more tragic dimension as a father struggling with the fall of his son, Ben. Despite returning to his smuggling roots after his family fractured, his final acts—both in life and as a memory—focus on redemption and guiding his son back to the light, completing a journey from a cynical lone wolf to a moral anchor for the galaxy.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Han Solo is a staple character with a market ranging from vintage toys to high-end replicas. The 1977 Kenner 'Small Head' Han Solo action figure is one of the most coveted vintage pieces in the hobby.
Modern collectors often look to Hasbro's 'The Black Series' for affordable but detailed 6-inch figures, while high-end enthusiasts target Hot Toys for 1/6 scale realism. Key grails include the life-size Han in Carbonite statues produced by Sideshow Collectibles. Value trends indicate that 'first appearance' versions and convention exclusives, such as the Carbonite-chamber boxed sets, consistently maintain high resale value among investment collectors.
Han once disguised the Millennium Falcon as a drone barge to infiltrate a high-security agricultural world.
