Cronologia
Biografia
Gabriel Leone is a versatile Brazilian actor who has achieved international stardom by becoming the cinematic embodiment of racing history. While initially rising to fame in Brazilian television and theater, he transitioned into a global 'prestige' phase, often sought after for complex biographical roles. He is uniquely positioned in the Formula 1 community for his ability to capture the intensity and charisma of the sport's most tragic and celebrated figures.
His career is defined by a deep commitment to historical accuracy, having played icons ranging from Brazilian rock stars to the most legendary three-time F1 World Champion. Leone's work spans high-budget Netflix productions like 'Senna' and Hollywood epics like Michael Mann’s 'Ferrari'. By 2026, he has established himself not just as an actor, but as a multi-disciplinary artist, balancing major Hollywood franchises with a burgeoning music career and a return to classical stage acting.
Storia
Leone's origins are rooted in the rigorous training of the Brazilian stage. Between 2009 and 2013, he performed with the Cia Teatral Notre Dame, honing his craft in classical productions like Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew'.
He broke into the national consciousness through Brazilian 'telenovelas,' specifically with recurring roles in 'Malhação' and the massive hit 'Verdades Secretas.' This background in intense, character-driven drama prepared him for the physical and emotional demands of portraying real-life figures, eventually leading him to the international stage where he would take on the mantle of South America's greatest sporting heroes.
Evoluzione
Gabriel Leone’s career trajectory is a rare example of a local idol successfully transitioning into a global prestige actor. He began as a 'telenovela' heartthrob, but quickly pivot towards 'heavy' biographical roles, proving his ability to handle the weight of national legends.
His evolution is marked by his mastery of the F1 niche; by moving from the aristocratic danger of de Portago to the spiritual intensity of Senna, he became a specialist in high-performance historical drama. By 2026, he has transcended acting to become a cross-media figure, launching a studio album and returning to Shakespearean theater while maintaining a presence in Hollywood blockbusters like 'Citadel'.
Da Collezione
For collectors, Gabriel Leone represents the modern bridge to vintage Formula 1 racing. While direct 'Gabriel Leone' action figures are not the primary focus, the massive success of the 'Senna' Netflix series and the 'Ferrari' film has sparked a surge in high-end memorabilia associated with his portrayals.
Premium 1:18 and 1:43 scale replicas of Alfonso de Portago’s ill-fated Ferrari from the 2023 film are highly sought after by cinema and racing fans alike. Additionally, official 'Senna' Netflix series merchandise, including limited-edition posters featuring Leone as the champion, have become 'grails' for younger collectors. As Leone enters the 'Citadel' universe, fans anticipate future 6-inch scale figures from the global spy franchise.
He returned to his theater roots in 2026 to play the title role in 'Hamlet' in São Paulo.
