MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticThe duel between light and darkness takes shape in this pair of figures from the Black Series line. Luke Skywalker and Grogu, two pivotal moments of the saga, come together at a 1:12 scale that captures the essence of their bond.
The Scene
The evoked image is that of the training on the forested planet of Tython, taken from the live-action series The Book of Boba Fett. The scene captures the moment when Luke Skywalker guides Grogu through the stages of the Jedi path, exactly as it occurs in the sixth chapter, titled From the Desert Comes a Stranger. The setting is defined by the presence of specific training elements: the training remote, the training base, and Grogu himself, who wears his iconic transport backpack while participating in the practice.
The Character
While Luke Skywalker embodies the archetype of the Jedi Knight whose rise triggered the fall of the Galactic Empire, Grogu represents the symbol of the new Disney+ era, a Force‑sensitive being who has captured a global audience. The narrative weight of this pair lies in their interaction: here we are not faced with two isolated heroes, but with a moment of knowledge transmission. The figure captures Luke in his role as master, engaged in training the young Padawan, a key step that connects the classic mythology of the original trilogy to modern adventures. For the collector, this set is not just an aesthetic addition, but a testament to a crucial era of Star Wars television, where the wisdom of the ancient Order meets the hope of a new generation.
Why Collect It
Owning this pair means holding a fundamental piece of modern Star Wars narrative, where past and future meet in a silent dialogue. Membership in the Black Series guarantees not only a highly artistic rendering, but also constructional solidity designed to withstand the test of time, making each piece a lasting investment for your display. The uniqueness of this set lies in the rare coexistence of two iconic figures that, while belonging to different eras, are inseparably linked by the red thread of the Force. For the discerning collector, this is not just an addition to the display, but a celebration of an evolving legacy, a tangible reminder of how the saga has managed to reinvent itself while preserving its emotional core.
