The Scene
The figure recreates Asajj Ventress as a Separatist assassin during the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008). Her appearance is highlighted by her distinctive purple robe and the dual‑handed curved lightsabers, elements that define her silhouette in this particular animated production.
The Character
Asajj Ventress’s value lies in her depth as a layered antagonist, far beyond a simple Dooku soldier. Born a Nightsister of Dathomir, her arc leads her to become one of the galaxy’s most lethal figures, mastering the Jar'Kai style that gives her unique mobility and ferocity in close combat. Her narrative is defined by a constant rivalry with Obi‑Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and especially Ahsoka Tano, making her a formidable and memorable foe during Clone Wars. For collectors, this figure is not just an add‑on, but a key piece to complete the narrative of Prequel era villains and Clone Wars antagonists, standing alongside key figures such as Count Dooku, General Grievous and Darth Maul on a monthly dedicated to the antagonists of this crucial era.
Why Collect It
For those who appreciate the line’s aesthetic consistency, this figure is a fundamental component to complete the visual narrative of the Black Series. Adding a key character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars in 1:12 scale raises the display beyond the standard offering, providing rare thematic depth that distinguishes purist collectors from casual holders. It is the ultimate choice for those seeking not just a decorative item, but a piece that captures the dark, sophisticated essence of the expanded universe, guaranteeing immediate display value and unmistakable presence next to other line figures.
