MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticStar Wars: The Black Series welcomes an unexpected yet iconic guest: the Ewok, re‑released in a Valentine’s Day variant. This 6‑inch figure captures the essence of the character with the line’s distinctive precision, offering collectors a unique piece that blends the charm of the Endor forest with a special celebratory occasion.
The Character
Within the vast Star Wars universe, Ewoks remain among the most polarizing yet unforgettable species from the original era. Native to the forest moon of Endor, these small furry warriors changed the final battle against the Empire not through advanced technology but with cunning and the use of primitive traps. Their intervention during the Battle of Endor was pivotal in defeating the Imperial ground forces, demonstrating how tribal zeal and terrain knowledge could topple an apparently invincible foe. This figure celebrates that very historic moment, honoring the forest peoples’ role in the Rebellion’s victory and cementing these characters in the hearts of original trilogy fans.
Why Collect It
The true magic of this figure lies in its off‑grid nature: a 1:12‑scale Ewok incorporated into the Black Series canon, a line traditionally reserved for armored protagonists or massive creatures. This anomaly makes it an instant focal point on the shelf, capable of breaking the monotony of classic silhouettes with a touch of pure, playful nostalgia. The Valentine’s Day variant adds an extra layer of rarity, turning a simple collectible accessory into an item with a precise, unique emotional story. For the discerning collector, it’s not just a statuette but proof that Star Wars can still surprise us with humor and warmth, deserving a place of honor alongside the line’s more serious pieces.
