MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticThe Ronin from Star Wars: Visions comes to life in Hasbro's iconic Black Series line, bringing the 1:12 scale icon of episode The Duel. This figure captures the mystical and lethal essence of the faceless samurai, offering collectors a fundamental piece to complete their collection dedicated to the expanded Star Wars universe.
The Scene
The figure captures the dark and cinematic atmosphere of episode The Duel of Star Wars: Visions. The character is portrayed while confronting the bandit leader in the village square, wrapped in a beating rain. This specific scene represents the moment of clash between the wandering ex-Sith and his adversary, recreating the iconic setting of the original animation.
The Character
The narrative weight of the Ronin lies in its nature as a cosmic outsider: he is not just a simple warrior, but the residue of an alternate story where the Force has evolved into a feudal dynasty. His arc centers on redemption through wandering, an ex-Sith who renounced power to become a hunter of red crystal lightsabers, symbol of his past darkness. This character is essential to the saga of Star Wars: Visions because he embodies the perfect fusion of Jedi/Sith mythology and samurai film tropes, offering a mature and solitary reading of the Force. His presence on rim worlds, accompanied only by an astromech droid, turns him into an archetype of the wandering samurai, making him an essential choice for those seeking to explore non-canon dimensions and expanded designs of the Star Wars universe, away from the group dynamics of the classic trilogy.
Why Collect It
Placing the Ronin alongside the iconic figures of the farthest galaxy means welcoming a visual narrative that breaks traditional Star Wars patterns. The Black Series, with its unmistakable artisanal precision and 1:12 scale, offers the perfect platform for this cinematic interpretation, elevating a single-season character into a front‑stage display piece. It's not just about adding another samurai to the collection, but safeguarding a fragment of that unique artistic vision that redefined the visual canon of the saga. It's the kind of piece that, once displayed, attracts the eye and invites storytelling, confirming the value of a line capable of turning animation into tangible and desirable sculpture.
