The Character
Created in 1961 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Sue Storm is not just a member of the Fantastic Four but the strategic and moral core of Marvel’s “First Family.” Her narrative evolution, from “Invisible Girl” to the formidable Invisible Woman, places her among the most powerful and influential heroes in the Marvel universe. Her story arc revolves around mastering two distinct powers: invisibility and the projection of immensely resilient psychic force fields, powers acquired during the experimental space flight that brought together Reed Richards, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm. This figure represents over sixty years of publishing history, capturing Storm’s pivotal role as an indispensable pillar for any collection dedicated to the classic team lineup.
