The Marvel Legends Series welcomes the Death Dealer, the brutal captain of the Ten Rings, in a 15 cm (6‑inch) version that captures the threatening essence of the film Shang‑Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. This piece is not only an action figure, but a direct entry into Xialing’s dark world, ready to dominate your display with its imposing presence and film‑faithful details.
The Scene
The figure recreates the iconic appearance of the Death Dealer as a masked warrior and Ten Rings trainer in Shang‑Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), capturing his central role as a commanding presence and physical threat within the cinematic narrative.
The Character
Although the figure depicts the Death Dealer, its narrative significance is inseparably tied to Shang‑Chi, the absolute protagonist of Marvel Studios’ epic martial‑arts saga. The character, born in comic pages in 1973 and brought to the screen in 2021, embodies the conflict between a past of assassination and an heroic vocation. Trained from childhood in martial arts and the Ten Rings’ secret techniques by his father, Shang‑Chi first tried to flee for a normal life. Yet, forced to confront his origins, he evolves into the Kung‑Fu Master and defender of the mystical realm of Ta Lo. This specific red and black version, faithful to the film, marks the crucial moment when the character stops hiding his past to fully embrace his heroic destiny, making him a cornerstone for any MCU‑dedicated collection.
Why Collect It
This edition of the Marvel Legends Series is not just an object, but a crucial piece for those chasing the cinematic accuracy of Shang‑Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The 1:12 scale makes it perfectly integrable with the rest of the line, ensuring impeccable visual consistency on the shelf. For the collector, the value lies in the figure’s ability to condense the film’s gothic and threatening aesthetic into a 15‑cm format, offering a solid and detailed alternative to standard versions. It is the piece that turns a simple display into a complete narrative, capturing the dark atmosphere and world of the Ten Rings with Hasbro’s typical build quality.
