Cronologia
Panoramica
Manufactured by Bandai Spirits under the Banpresto brand, The Amazing Heroes is a premier prize figure line centered on Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia franchise.
Positioned as a dynamic counterpart to static standing lines like Age of Heroes, this collection focuses on characters captured mid-battle, mid-jump, and utilizing their distinct Quirks.
Standard main line figures are crafted as non-articulated PVC and ABS statues with average heights ranging between 14 cm and 18 cm. By offering expressive, combat-focused sculpts at an accessible prize-figure tier, the line provides collectors with high-impact representations of U.A. High students, faculty, and Pro Heroes.
Storia
Banpresto unveiled The Amazing Heroes line in late 2018, launching Vol. 1 featuring Izuku Midoriya in December 2018/January 2019. This was quickly followed by Shoto Todoroki (Vol. 2) in January 2019 and Katsuki Bakugo (Vol. 3) in February 2019.
Over the subsequent years, the roster expanded beyond Class 1-A to include U.A. High faculty, upperclassmen like The Big 3 (Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado), and top Pro Heroes such as All Might, Endeavor, Hawks, and Mirko. Starting around Vol.
13, figures received updated sculpts reflecting canon costume modifications introduced in Seasons 5 and 6 of the anime. Banpresto later established targeted sub-lines including -PLUS-, -DX-, -ANOTHER- (focused on My Hero Academia: Vigilantes), and Sports Festival variants, extending scheduled releases through late 2026 alongside a parallel antagonist series titled The Evil Villains.

Collezionismo
The Amazing Heroes serves as a key entry point for My Hero Academia figure collectors due to its deep character roster and accessible prize pricing. By focusing on mid-combat poses and Quirk activations rather than static standing poses, these figures offer high visual impact when displayed together.
Collecting depth is enhanced by sub-lines: main line volumes cover Class 1-A and Pro Heroes, while the -ANOTHER- branch offers rare physical sculpts for spinoff characters like Koichi Haimawari and Knuckleduster. Furthermore, collectors can display these hero figures directly opposite antagonist sculpts from Banpresto's parallel series, The Evil Villains. With deluxe (-DX-) and enhanced (-PLUS-) iterations scheduled through late 2026, key releases and unique costume variants continue to retain steady collector interest.
The inaugural figure of the series, Vol. 1 Izuku Midoriya, depicts Deku executing an airborne One For All strike.
