Cronologia
Overview

The Disney Princess Style Series is a specialized line of modern fashion dolls produced by Hasbro, aimed at collectors and children ages 6 and up.
Designed as a high-fashion reimagining of classic Walt Disney Animation Studios heroines, the line shifts characters out of their traditional movie costumes and into contemporary, red-carpet-ready designer outfits.
Each figure in the line combines modern runway aesthetics with details pulled from the character's original animated film, offering a unique crossover between classic Disney storytelling and modern fashion design.
History

Hasbro formally introduced the Disney Princess Style Series at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in July 2019, launching the first retail wave on August 1, 2019, featuring Ariel, Belle, and Mulan.
Throughout 2020 and 2021, Hasbro broadened the lineup by releasing additional mainline princesses such as Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Tiana, Aurora, Snow White, and Pocahontas.
During this period, the brand also created 'Deluxe' releases that expanded beyond standard princess lineup boundaries to include Frozen's Elsa and the villain Cruella de Vil. In April 2022, Hasbro released a 30th Anniversary Princess Jasmine doll to celebrate the 1992 release of Aladdin. The Style Series concluded production in late 2022 after releasing approximately 18 unique collector dolls, preceding the transition of the master Disney Princess doll license back to Mattel in 2023.

Collecting & Value
Because Hasbro's master license for Disney Princess dolls concluded in 2022 and returned to Mattel in 2023, the Disney Princess Style Series stands as a finite collection of approximately 18 distinct dolls.
Collectors value the line for its specific 2019–2022 red-carpet design direction, which differs from standard movie-accurate fashion dolls. Secondary marketplace platforms such as eBay and Mercari are the primary sources for acquiring these discontinued figures. Mint-in-box examples, particularly the Deluxe non-princess releases like Cruella de Vil and the 30th Anniversary Jasmine, remain focal points for modern Disney doll collectors.

The 2022 Jasmine figure was specifically released to mark the 30th anniversary of the 1992 film Aladdin.
