Cronologia
Panoramica
Pop! Deluxe is a specialized sub-line produced by Funko under its flagship Pop! Vinyl umbrella. Designed to elevate standard vinyl collectibles into premium display pieces, Pop! Deluxe features figures in enhanced staging configurations rather than simple standalone poses.
Releases in this line typically showcase characters seated on iconic thrones, framed by detailed environmental scenic set pieces, or integrated into multi-piece, interconnecting 'Build-A-Scene' dioramas that attach together to form large dynamic displays.
Positioned above standard individual figures while remaining distinct from vehicle-focused Pop! Rides and static dual-character Pop! Moments, Pop! Deluxe emphasizes detailed environmental backdrops and multi-character staging. By bringing iconic pop culture moments to life with high-impact bases and modular dioramas, the line offers collectors premium centerpiece items for their displays.
Storia
The Pop! Deluxe line was introduced around 2017 to 2018 as Funko expanded beyond basic character sculpts to experiment with detailed environmental staging.
Early releases highlighted throne-seated characters and cinematic set pieces, starting with Game of Thrones releases such as the Sitting on the Iron Throne series (2018–2019) and Star Wars displays like the Millennium Falcon with Han Solo (2019).
In 2020, Funko evolved the line by introducing interconnecting 'Build-A-Scene' dioramas. Sets like the 6-piece Avengers Assemble collection (2020) and the 7-piece Star Wars Bounty Hunters Collection allowed fans to connect individual Deluxe bases into complete scenes. Between 2023 and 2024, Funko added modern anime, gaming franchises, and interactive electronic features, such as light-and-sound components on IG-12 with Grogu (#2024). Heading into 2025 and 2026, the line continues expanding into modern anime titles like Frieren and Solo Leveling alongside major Disney classics.

Collezionismo
For Funko enthusiasts, the Pop! Deluxe line offers a compelling bridge between standard vinyl figures and full-scale statues. Its primary appeal lies in dynamic staging and modular display concepts—specifically the multi-part 'Build-A-Scene' collections. Assembling complete sets like the 6-piece Avengers Assemble or the 7-piece Bounty Hunters Collection requires dedicated tracking, which consistently elevates demand for specific key components.
Exclusive distribution channels—such as GameStop's Bounty Hunters run or Target's Eleven in Rainbow Room—frequently turn individual pieces into sought-after grails that hold strong secondary market value over time. Furthermore, pop culture milestone figures like Stranger Things' Eddie Munson releases and tech-enhanced releases like the light-and-sound IG-12 with Grogu attract heavy interest from franchise completionists. Pop! Deluxe remains one of Funko's most versatile lines for collectors who prioritize visual impact and narrative depth in their displays.
The 7-piece Star Wars Bounty Hunters Collection released between 2020 and 2021 was distributed exclusively as a GameStop exclusive series.
