Pop! Movie Posters is a specialized collectible line produced by Funko, officially launched in 2022. Positioned as display-ready premium decor, each entry combines standard or specially styled Funko Pop!
vinyl figures with full-color, high-resolution reproductions of official theatrical movie poster artwork.
The figures and artwork are housed inside a heavy-duty, protective acrylic display case measuring approximately 11 inches wide by 17 inches high by 5.5 inches deep. To maintain display stability and scene alignment, figures are permanently affixed to both the backdrop artwork and the interior base. The hard acrylic case features built-in rear mounting hardware, allowing collectors to hang the poster displays directly on walls or showcase them freestanding.
History
Funko introduced the Pop! Movie Posters format in 2022 with iconic titles including Gremlins (#01, a Walmart Exclusive featuring a Flocked Gizmo), Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (#02), and Jurassic Park (#03).
In 2023, the sub-line expanded significantly by celebrating Disney's 100th Anniversary (Disney100) with releases for Fantasia, Pinocchio, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Dumbo, and Lady and the Tramp.
The 2023 lineup also brought cinematic blockbusters such as The Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, The Dark Knight, and Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark. Moving into 2024 through 2026, Funko broadened the category to celebrate Godzilla's 70th Anniversary with Godzilla vs. Mothra (#23), adapted the format to anime wanted posters with One Piece: Wanted Poster Shanks (#1401) at C2E2 2024, and expanded into slasher horror with Halloween II (#2121).
