Panoramica
The Cobra Kai product line by Minix is an officially licensed series of vinyl collectible figurines based on the hit martial arts television series set within the Karate Kid franchise's "Miyagi-verse".
Produced by Minix, the line offers fans compact, highly stylized vinyl renditions of both legacy senseis and new-generation karate students. Standing at approximately 4.7 inches (12 cm) tall, these figurines occupy a specialized niche in pop-culture vinyl collectibles.
They feature caricature-style blocky sculpting while retaining signature character likenesses, facial expressions, and dojo gis. Positioned as accessible yet highly displayable items, Minix packages each figure in individually numbered window boxes with custom franchise artwork, catering to both casual fans of the series and dedicated vinyl set completionists.
Storia
Minix expanded its pop-culture vinyl range—which features licenses across major television, anime, movie, and sports properties—to include the martial arts world of Cobra Kai following the show's massive global popularity on Netflix.
Introduced between 2022 and 2023, the initial line focused on core protagonists and central rivals, debuting key figures such as Miguel Diaz (#132) and Johnny Lawrence (#165) dressed in their signature dojo gis.
As the television series progressed toward its multi-part final season between 2024 and 2025, Minix expanded global availability through pop-culture specialty stores and online retailers like Merchoid and ToyWiz. The collection evolved from its initial core releases into a broader line encompassing characters across the Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do, and Eagle Fang dojo camps. By 2026, the series remains an active fixture within Minix's television collectibles portfolio.

Collezionismo
Collecting the Minix Cobra Kai line offers fans of the Miyagi-verse a distinct way to assemble their favorite karate senseis and rival students in a compact format. Because Minix utilizes a standardized 4.7-inch scale and individual box numbering system across its pop-culture licenses, collectors can easily catalog and display figures side-by-side in or out of packaging.
The line holds strong appeal for both martial arts enthusiasts and general vinyl collectors thanks to official licensing from Netflix and Sony Pictures. As the figures continue to distribute through specialty pop-culture stores and online retailers, complete numbered sets and key character releases like Johnny Lawrence and Miguel Diaz maintain steady interest among collectors dedicated to representing the Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do, and Eagle Fang factions.
Series composers hosted a live ticketed musical concert titled "Enter the Dojo: The Music of Cobra Kai Live" at the Troubadour in June 2022.
