Cronologia
Panoramica

Produced by Japanese toy manufacturer Kotobukiya Co., Ltd.
(and distributed in the United States partly through Sideshow Collectibles), ARTFX+ is a line of 1/10 scale pre-painted collectible figures standing approximately 7–8 inches (18–20 cm) tall.
Introduced in 2009, the line was designed as an accessible, space-saving alternative and companion to Kotobukiya's larger 1/6 scale ARTFX line. ARTFX+ serves as Kotobukiya's primary baseline entry point for major Western comic, film, and video game licenses.
Storia

Kotobukiya launched the ARTFX+ line in 2009 with Star Wars as its debut property, starting with figures from The Clone Wars animated series and the Prequel Trilogy before expanding to the Original Trilogy, Sequel Trilogy, and Disney+ series.
In 2011, Kotobukiya broadened the line into Western comic books with the DC New 52 Justice League wave, later adding the nostalgic DC Super Powers line and DCEU film statues. Marvel joined the lineup in 2014 with Adi Granov-designed Marvel NOW!
figures, followed by X-Men, Spider-Man, and MCU releases. The brand expanded into video games with Halo in 2015, and film properties like Alien in 2016 and Fantastic Beasts in 2018. Over time, Kotobukiya has maintained the ARTFX+ line alongside higher-tier offerings through updated Renewal editions and anniversary re-issues.
I PEZZI DI ARTFX+
Collezionismo
The ARTFX+ line occupies a distinct niche in the figure market by providing near-statue quality sculpting in a compact 1/10 scale that saves shelf space. Collectors appreciate the uniformity of display bases across different franchises, as well as the stability provided by magnetic feet without visible mounting pegs.
Hard-to-find releases, particularly Expanded Universe Star Wars pieces like Mara Jade and Jaina Solo or retailer exclusives like Backstabber, carry strong collector demand. To satisfy market interest and combat high secondary market prices, Kotobukiya regularly produces refreshed Renewal editions with enhanced paint work, alongside limited anniversary re-issues of vintage releases.

**Retro Homages:** The 2015 DC Super Powers ARTFX+ wave was sculpted specifically to pay homage to the classic 1980s Kenner action figure line.
