HIKARU MATSUYAMA

Hikaru Matsuyama, known internationally as Philip Callahan or Armand Callahan, is a central supporting protagonist and iconic team leader in the Captain Tsubasa franchise. Universally dubbed 'The Wild Eagle of Hokkaido,' he plays as a defensive midfielder, center-back, and attacking midfielder for Furano FC, the Japanese national team, and Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. Lacking the raw prodigal genius of rivals, Matsuyama is celebrated for his relentless work ethic, unyielding tenacity, tactical leadership, and mastery of the low-altitude Eagle Shot.
