BRUCE BANNER

Dr. Robert Bruce Banner is a brilliant nuclear physicist created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who debuted in Marvel's The Incredible Hulk #1 in May 1962. After being caught in the blast of an experimental gamma bomb while rescuing teenager Rick Jones, exposure to gamma radiation altered his DNA, causing him to transform under stress or anger into the super-powered, green-skinned monster known as the Hulk.
