BLACK ADAM

Black Adam (Teth-Adam) is a complex antihero and sovereign ruler of Kahndaq created by Otto Binder and C. C. Beck for Fawcett Comics, later integrated into DC Comics. Originally the ancient Kahndaqi champion chosen by the Wizard Shazam who was corrupted by his vast powers, he evolved over decades from a villainous archenemy into a fiercely protective guardian of his homeland and a member of both the Justice Society and Justice League.
