Cronologia
Biografia

Thor Odinson is the God of Thunder from the realm of Asgard, empowered by the magical mallet Mjolnir to fight villainy across the Ten Realms. The son of Odin, Thor was originally banished to Earth in the mortal body of physician Dr. Donald Blake as part of a lesson in humility orchestrated by his father.
Upon learning humility and discovering his true divine identity, Thor grew deeply attached to Earth and its honorable people, pledging himself as their champion. Throughout his history, Thor has been a core member of the Avengers and the defender of Asgard.
Over time, other individuals have also taken up his mantle or shared his divine power, including architect Eric Masterson (who became Thunderstrike) and Dr. Jane Foster, who wielded Mjolnir as The Mighty Thor while secretly battling cancer. Whether ruling as King of Asgard or standing alongside Earth's mightiest heroes, Thor remains one of the universe's most formidable protectors.
Storia

Thor's origins lie in ancient Asgardian myth, born as the prince of Asgard to Odin the All-Father. To cure his son's youthful arrogance, Odin stripped Thor of his divine memories and sent him to Earth inside the fragile, altered body of crippled medical student Donald Blake.
While visiting Norway, Blake discovered a wooden walking stick in a cave that, when struck against the ground, transformed into the enchanted hammer Mjolnir and restored his memories and divine form as Thor.
As the God of Thunder, Thor established a dual identity protecting Earth while defending Asgard against cosmic and mythological threats. His legendary history includes endless battles against his adopted brother Loki, the fire demon Surtur, and the Dark Elf Malekith. Following the catastrophic apocalypse of Ragnarok, Thor restored Asgard by creating a floating golden realm directly above Broxton, Oklahoma, permanently linking his home realm with Midgard.

Evoluzione
Thor has experienced dramatic transformations since his 1962 comic debut by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby. Starting as a superhero operating via the human alter-ego of Dr. Donald Blake, Thor's narrative evolved into high epic fantasy. During Walt Simonson's 1980s run, the mythos expanded through mythic storytelling, introducing Beta Ray Bill and famously turning Thor into a frog ('Frog Thor'). In modern comics, Thor's trajectory altered further.
Following the Asgardian apocalypse of Ragnarok, writer J. Michael Straczynski recreated Asgard above Broxton, Oklahoma. Jason Aaron's decade-long run redefined Thor by introducing Gorr the God Butcher, rendering Thor 'Unworthy' to lift Mjolnir, and passing the mantle to Dr. Jane Foster. During *War of the Realms*, Thor sacrificed an eye and an arm to become All-Father Thor. Later writers Donny Cates and Al Ewing turned Thor into a Herald of Galactus and confronted him with the primordial Gods of Utgard, leading into a grounded 2025 Earth-based relaunch.

Prior to Chris Hemsworth's MCU role, Thor's first live-action screen appearance was in the 1988 TV movie *The Incredible Hulk Returns*, played by Eric Allan Kramer.
