SUPER-SHIN
Shin, also known as the East Supreme Kai or by his birth name Nahare, is the primary creation deity overseeing Universe 7 in the Dragon Ball series. Originally a member of the Glind race from the Second Demon World, Shin inherited sole divine oversight of Universe 7 after Majin Buu destroyed his fellow Supreme Kais millions of years ago. Throughout Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and Dragon Ball DAIMA, Shin serves as a key ally to Goku and the Z-Fighters, bridging the gap between mortal heroes and divine realms.
Cronologia
Biografia
Shin, formally known as the East Supreme Kai and originally named Nahare, is the highest creation deity overseeing Universe 7. Hailing from the Glind race on planet Kaishin in the Second Demon World, Shin left the Demon Realm to serve as an apprentice before becoming a full Supreme Kai.
Following the horrific assault by the wizard Bibidi and Majin Buu—which wiped out the other Supreme Kais—Shin was forced to inherit total responsibility for Universe 7 at a young age without having completed his full divine training. Throughout the Dragon Ball saga, Shin acts as a crucial guide and protector. In Dragon Ball Z, he travels to Earth alongside his attendant Kibito to prevent Babidi from reviving Majin Buu, recruiting Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan to assist him.
While initially appearing mysterious and all-knowing, Shin's lack of complete training leaves him unaware of fundamental universal truths, such as the existence of Lord Zeno, Ultra Instinct, or the true nature of Potara fusion. In Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball DAIMA, Shin's role expands as his life-link to Beerus, the God of Destruction, is revealed. After undoing his Potara fusion with Kibito, Shin is de-aged into 'Shin (Mini)' by King Gomah's wish and journeys back to the Demon Realm alongside Goku. Despite his frequent surprise at mortal strength, Shin remains a humble, noble deity dedicated to upholding moral standards across the cosmos.
Storia
Shin was born under the name Nahare on planet Kaishin in the Second Demon World, living alongside his older sister, Dr. Arinsu, and his younger brother, Degesu. After migrating to planet Kaishin in Universe 7, he served as the East Supreme Kai alongside the North, South, and West Supreme Kais under the guidance of the Grand Supreme Kai.
Roughly five million years before the main events of the series (around 239,856 Before Age), the ruthless wizard Bibidi unleashed the terror of Majin Buu across Universe 7. Buu brutally slaughtered the North and West Supreme Kais and absorbed the South and Grand Supreme Kais.
Because the Grand Supreme Kai's benevolent nature softened Buu into an obese, childlike creature, Shin was spared. Taking advantage of the moment, Shin eliminated Bibidi while Buu was sealed inside a sphere, which Shin then buried deep beneath the surface of Earth. He returned to the Sacred World of the Kai with his new bodyguard, Kibito, carrying the heavy burden of being Universe 7's sole surviving Supreme Kai.

Evoluzione
When Shin first arrived in Dragon Ball Z, he projected an aura of absolute power and rigid moral judgment, shaped by the trauma of losing his fellow Kais. However, witnessing Goku and the Saiyans battle Babidi's forces shattered his assumptions, making him realize that mortal potential far surpassed divine expectations and that redemption was possible for former enemies.
Physically and narrative-wise, Shin's journey has involved dramatic transformations. He unexpectedly merged with Kibito via Potara earrings to become Kibito Kai, a form he maintained throughout Dragon Ball GT. In Dragon Ball Super, he used the Namekian Dragon Balls to separate back into his individual self. His character evolution culminated in Dragon Ball DAIMA, where he was turned into 'Shin (Mini)' by King Gomah's wish, forcing him to confront his origins as Nahare alongside his Demon Realm siblings.

Shin and Kibito discovered that gas inside Majin Buu's body naturally undoes Potara fusion.
