Lucky Domingo is introduced as an energetic teenager living in Summerville, Oklahoma, where she works as a carhop at Spinners Roller Hop and is the daughter of local Sheriff Sherman Domingo. After meeting newcomer Trevor Spengler, she introduces him to local hangouts, including Ivo Shandor's abandoned iron mine.

Her involvement in the town's rising supernatural threats leads to her joining the young crew against Gozer, during which she is briefly possessed by the Gatekeeper, Zuul, and transformed into a Terror Dog before being freed after Gozer's defeat. Following the events in Summerville, Lucky relocates to New York City to join Dr.

Winston Zeddemore's expanding Ghostbusters operations. Working as a research intern alongside lead scientist Dr. Lars Pinfield at the Paranormal Research Center, she helps test and engineer advanced ghost-containment technology. During the ancient deity Garraka's invasion, Lucky steps up to defend the city, operating upgraded Ghostbusters gear alongside both the new and original teams.
