Cronologia
Biografia

Kamala Khan is a Pakistani-American Muslim teenager growing up in Jersey City, New Jersey. A passionate fan of superheroes who wrote fan-fiction and deeply idolized Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel), Kamala's life changed forever when exposure to the Terrigen Mists unlocked her dormant powers.
Taking up the mantle of Ms. Marvel, she initially set out to protect her local neighborhood from crime alongside her tech-savvy best friend, Bruno Carrelli.
Over the course of her superhero career, Kamala rapidly elevated from local street defender to one of the most prominent heroes of her generation. She served as an active member of the main Avengers roster before co-founding the Champions to give young heroes an independent voice. Following major multiversal and political shifts, she joined the X-Men, balancing mutant activism, street-level heroics, and cosmic-level alliances.
Storia

Created by editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker, writer G. Willow Wilson, and artists Adrian Alphona and Jamie McKelvie, Kamala Khan made her background cameo debut in Captain Marvel (vol. 7) #14 in August 2013 before starring in her own solo series, Ms. Marvel (vol.
3) #1, in February 2014. In original comic continuity, her powers emerged when the Terrigen Mists swept through Jersey City, triggering her dormant Inhuman genes and giving her shapeshifting powers.
In alternate universe adaptations, such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, her powers stem from an ancient family bangle that manifests hard-light constructs while revealing her inherent Mutant gene. Following her tragic sacrifice saving Mary Jane Watson in 2023, Kamala was resurrected via Krakoan Resurrection Protocols, establishing her canonical status in comics as an Inhuman/Mutant hybrid.

After acquiring her shapeshifting abilities, she initially balanced ordinary high school life with battling local threats like The Inventor. Her early successes brought her to the national stage, resulting in her recruitment to the flagship Avengers team.
Her moral integrity was tested during Civil War II, leading her to break away from veteran heroes and co-found the Champions to champion youth activism against government overreach such as 'Kamala's Law'. Following her fatal sacrifice and subsequent Krakoan resurrection in 2023, her revealed Inhuman/Mutant hybrid heritage pushed her into a central role within X-Men titles like NYX and Inglorious X-Force.
