Cronologia
Biografia
Izuku Midoriya is the central protagonist of My Hero Academia. Growing up in a superpower-dominated society without a Quirk of his own, Izuku spent his childhood looked down upon by his peers. His life changed drastically after he instinctively rushed to save his childhood acquaintance Katsuki Bakugo from the Sludge Villain.
Witnessing Izuku's pure desire to protect others, All Might selected him as the ninth successor to inherit the stockpiling Quirk One For All. Upon enrolling in U.A. High School's Hero Course in Class 1-A, Izuku trains to master his immense power while analyzing the abilities of allies and enemies.
Though initially fragile and prone to breaking his own bones, his strategic mind, passion, and leadership turn him into a core figure alongside Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki. During the Final War against Tomura Shigaraki and All For One, Izuku makes the ultimate sacrifice by transferring the vestiges of One For All into Shigaraki to destroy his core trauma and end All For One once and for all. Depleted of his Quirk, Izuku finishes high school, becomes a teacher at U.A., and later returns to active pro-hero duty eight years post-graduation using an advanced armored hero suit provided by All Might and his Class 1-A friends.
Storia
Izuku was originally conceived in Kohei Horikoshi's 2008 one-shot My Hero as Jack Midoriya, an unpowered salesman who used specialized gadgets to save people.
Horikoshi later revised the concept into a timid, hero-obsessed teenager born Quirkless in a world where eighty percent of the population has superpowers.
Throughout his childhood, Izuku endured constant bullying from Katsuki Bakugo, who gave him the derogatory nickname "Deku." Despite lacking a Quirk, Izuku spent years meticulously filling notebooks titled Hero Analysis for the Future, studying battle strategies and Quirk mechanics. His bravery during the Sludge Villain incident convinced All Might that Izuku possessed the innate quality of a true hero, leading to ten months of grueling physical training on Dagobah Municipal Beach Park to prepare his body to inherit One For All.

Evoluzione
Izuku Midoriya's personal evolution centers on transforming from a timid, Quirkless boy into a resilient and mature pro hero. Early in his hero journey, Izuku suffered severe self-inflicted injuries, shattering the bones in his arms and legs whenever he unleashed One For All. Realizing that continued damage would cause permanent paralysis, he shifted his fighting style away from imitating All Might, adopting "Shoot Style" and installing iron soles onto his boots to focus on kick attacks.
Under Gran Torino's tutelage, Izuku developed "Full Cowl," mastering the ability to channel energy evenly throughout his entire body. As his connection to One For All expanded, he gained access to the vestige realm, unlocking six unique Quirks from previous users: Blackwhip, Float, Smokescreen, Danger Sense, Fa Jin, and Gearshift. In the Final War, Izuku made the selfless choice to transfer One For All's vestiges into Tomura Shigaraki to conquer his internal trauma. Returning to his Quirkless state, he completed his education and became a U.A. High School teacher before accepting an advanced armored hero suit eight years later to resume active hero work alongside his peers.
He re-appropriated his derogatory childhood nickname 'Deku' to mean 'you can do it.'
