Cronologia
Biografia

Robert 'Bobby' Louis Drake was born in Floral Park, Hempstead, New York to William Robert Drake and Madeline Beatrice Bass-Drake. Manifesting mutant abilities at a young age, he was saved from a hostile lynch mob by Professor Charles Xavier and recruited as the second official member of the founding X-Men alongside Cyclops, Angel, Beast, and Jean Grey.
Throughout his superhero career, Iceman has served as a core member of numerous prominent teams, including the X-Men, the Champions of Los Angeles, the New Defenders, X-Factor, and Captain Kate Pryde's Marauders. Despite his lighthearted and clownish demeanor, Bobby continuously struggles to master the vast, untapped potential of his Omega-level cryokinetic powers.
In addition to his mutant activism, Bobby has undergone significant personal growth. After confronting a time-displaced teenage version of himself, he came out as a gay man, navigating his heroics alongside his identity. He later relocated to Chicago with Kitty Pryde to mentor young mutants at Graymatter Lane and participated in major events such as the Krakoan era and the Fall of X.
Storia

Bobby Drake grew up in Fort Washington, New York, unaware of his true potential until his mutant abilities first manifested as uncontrollable shivering and coldness.
His life changed drastically during a date with his high school girlfriend, Judy Harmon, when local bully Rocky Beasely and his gang attacked them. In a moment of panic, Bobby encased Rocky in solid ice to save Judy, exposing his mutant power to the town.
Fearing his power, an angry lynch mob stormed the Drake household and overpowered Bobby's parents. To save him from the mob, the local sheriff placed Bobby in protective custody. After news of the incident reached Professor Charles Xavier, Cyclops was dispatched to rescue and recruit him. Xavier telepathically wiped the mob's memories following a scuffle, and Bobby enrolled in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters as the team's youngest member.

Evoluzione
Iceman's transformation spans both his power potential and his personal identity. Originally depicted as the immature, joke-cracking youngest member of the X-Men who covered his body in a snow-like shell, Bobby gradually learned to transform into solid organic ice.
Through team tenures with the Champions, New Defenders, and X-Factor, his mastery grew, leading to his eventual official designation as an Omega-level mutant capable of ambient temperature manipulation down to absolute zero and surviving body atomization. Alongside his power maturation, Bobby underwent a pivotal personal development. Confronting a time-displaced teenage version of himself forced him to reevaluate his sexuality, culminating in coming out as a gay man in 2015. This milestone reshaped his personal story, leading to solo comic titles exploring his family dynamics, romantic relationships with Inhuman partner Romeo and Christian Frost, and key leadership roles across Krakoa, Mars, and the 'From the Ashes' era.
