FINN
Finn, originally designated FN-2187, is a former First Order stormtrooper who defected to become a Co-General in the Resistance. Portrayed by John Boyega in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Finn grew from an indoctrinated soldier into a Force-sensitive hero fighting for galactic freedom.
Cronologia
Biografia

Finn was born in 11 ABY and taken from his family at age three by the First Order to be raised as stormtrooper FN-2187 ("Eight-Seven"). Serving under Captain Phasma, he was viewed as an ideal soldier with officer potential.
However, during his first real combat deployment at Tuanul on Jakku, FN-2187 suffered a crisis of conscience after refusing to fire on innocent civilians, prompting him to break away from the regime.
After helping captured Resistance pilot Poe Dameron escape—who bestowed upon him the name "Finn"—he joined forces with scavenger Rey and BB-8 on Jakku. Over the course of the galactic war, Finn evolved from a deserter seeking escape into a core leader of the Resistance. He helped destroy Starkiller Base, confronted his former master Captain Phasma aboard the Supremacy, and was ultimately promoted to Co-General alongside Poe Dameron, leading ground forces during the pivotal Battle of Exegol.
Storia

Abducted as an infant, the child who became Finn was raised with no memory of his family or origin. Assigned the designation FN-2187, he trained in the FN Corps under Captain Phasma alongside squadmates FN-2199 ("Nines"), FN-2000 ("Zeroes"), and FN-2003 ("Slip").
Despite strict military brainwashing, young Eight-Seven retained a strong empathetic streak, secretly reading contraband Kade Genti comics sneaked in by FN-1971 and appreciating the distinct human personalities of his fellow cadets.
Throughout his training, Finn served on sanitation detail, mopping corridors aboard Starkiller Base and the Star Dreadnought Supremacy. Despite achieving top marks in blaster marksmanship and combat drills, his compassion repeatedly surfaced: he repeatedly protected his struggling comrade Slip during tactical simulations, and later smuggled native purple tunnel bats off Starkiller Base to save them from extermination. His refusal to execute unarmed miners during a mission to Pressy's Tumble in the Pressylla system led Phasma to deploy him to Jakku, setting the stage for his defection.

Evoluzione
Finn's arc represents a transformation from an indoctrinated military asset into a self-determined galactic hero. As FN-2187, his innate empathy prevented him from conforming to the First Order's ruthless ideology despite his high marks as a cadet. His initial defection in *The Force Awakens* was driven by self-preservation and fear, though his protective bond with Rey pulled him into active resistance at Starkiller Base.
Through his experiences in *The Last Jedi*, particularly his mission with Rose Tico and final battle against Captain Phasma, Finn shed his desire to run and fully dedicated himself to the Resistance's political and moral cause. By *The Rise of Skywalker*, he matured into Co-General of the Resistance, orchestrating ground warfare at Exegol while awakening his Force sensitivity, cementing his transition from a soldier escaping his past into a Force-guided leader.
Da Collezione
For starships and action figure collectors, Finn occupies a distinctive niche bridging both First Order stormtrooper gear and Resistance hero outfits. A cornerstone piece in hybrid gaming collectibles is his *Disney Infinity 3.0* playable figure from 2015, which debuted alongside *The Force Awakens Playset*.
Digital collectors also seek out his various character forms in *Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes*, ranging from his First Order Defector outfit to his Resistance Hero attire. As interest in sequel trilogy collectibles endures, pieces capturing key moments—such as his blood-streaked FN-2187 stormtrooper helmet or his lightsaber-wielding hero poses—remain standout highlights for collectors.

As a stormtrooper cadet, Finn secretly read contraband Kade Genti comics sneaked in by a fellow trooper.
