EL HEROE INVICTO
El Héroe Invicto ("The Undefeated Hero") is the official Mexican lucha libre reimagining of Marvel's Iron Man, created through a partnership between Marvel Entertainment and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. As a heroic técnico wrestler, he fights alongside allies like Leyenda Americana and El Aracno in ring gear inspired by Iron Man's classic red-and-gold armor.
Cronologia
Biografia
El Héroe Invicto is the official lucha libre adaptation of Marvel Comics' Iron Man (Tony Stark).
Developed in collaboration between Marvel Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company Latin America, and Mexico's Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, the character converts Iron Man's iconic persona into a high-flying técnico (heroic wrestler).
In the Marvel Lucha Libre universe, El Héroe Invicto stands as a key defender of the ring and Mexican wrestling tradition. Alongside fellow técnicos such as Leyenda Americana, El Aracno, Gran Mazo, and Estrella Cósmica, he battles the villainous rudo faction led by Terror Púrpura and Venenoide.
Storia
The origin of El Héroe Invicto traces back to October 2020, when Marvel Latin America and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide officially unveiled the Marvel Lucha Libre Edition sub-franchise.
The project aimed to localize iconic comic book lore into authentic Mexican sports entertainment.
Originally featured in promotional posters and merchandise lines, El Héroe Invicto's backstory expanded through print publications like the 2021 Marvel Lucha Libre: Libro póster before transitioning to physical wrestling events in 2022.

Evoluzione
El Héroe Invicto began as a promotional graphic concept and collectible figure in late 2020. Throughout 2021, the character was integrated into Spanish-language tabletop board games and poster books.
His evolution reached a major milestone on October 15, 2022, when a real-life luchador brought the character into the physical ring at AAA's Triplemanía XXX. The character's narrative culminated in January 2023 with the release of the Disney+ series Marvel Lucha Libre Edition: El Origen de la Máscara, solidifying him as an official multiversal variant of Iron Man.
Da Collezione
El Héroe Invicto is a standout figure for collectors of unique Marvel variants and lucha libre memorabilia. Funko spearheaded the product line in October 2020 with the Pop! Vinyl #709 figure, followed by a Pocket Pop! Keychain, a 17.5-inch Pop!
Plush, and a Funko Pop! Soda figure featuring a 1-in-6 metallic Chase variant. Because these original 2020–2021 releases have been vaulted by Funko, they have become sought-after pieces on the secondary market for Marvel and wrestling enthusiasts.
