Biografia

Captain Arthur Koblenz Dallas was born on February 27, 2075, in Wolf Point, Montana. A veteran spacefarer with over a decade of flight experience across military and commercial vessels, Dallas assumed command of Weyland-Yutani's commercial towing ship, the USCSS Nostromo.

When the ship's computer MU/TH/UR awakened the crew to investigate a distress signal on LV-426, Dallas led the landing party that inadvertently brought a Xenomorph aboard, eventually entering the ship's ventilation shafts with a flamethrower to flush out the creature before being ambushed.

Nathan Steele, operating under the alias 'Dallas', is the operational field commander and Mastermind of the Payday Gang. A former Chicago mob enforcer who went into hiding after a botched gang war, Steele was recruited by Bain at age 42. Famous for his iconic American flag clown mask and his urgent call for a medic bag, Dallas directs high-profile armed heists across the globe alongside his crew and his younger brother, Houston.

LO SAPEVI?Director Ridley Scott personally voiced Captain Dallas's spoken greeting line to the computer MU/TH/UR 6000 in Alien.

Storia

Arthur Dallas earned his spaceflight license from Mercerton Flight Academy, piloting vessels such as the USCSS Snark and UTX Ganymede before serving in the United Americas Outer Rim Defense Fleet during the Torin Prime civil war.

Awarded the Sunburst Medal of Honor, he was promoted to Captain of the UAS Archangel, but his military career ended in disgrace after an ambush on Thedus caused the loss of 15,293 lives.

After spending years off the grid running supplies on the Vidar and hauling hazardous cargo for Weyland-Yutani, Dallas purchased the USCSS Tremolino before taking command of the USCSS Nostromo. Nathan Steele grew up in Chicago, climbing the mob ranks from bouncer to hitman. At age 30, he attempted to pit two rival mob families against each other, resulting in a bloody conflict that placed a hit on his head. After spending a decade underground running an illicit weapons ring, he experienced a criminal midlife crisis at age 42 and joined Bain to lead the Payday Gang as its strategic field commander.

LO SAPEVI?Tom Skerritt initially declined the role of Dallas until he saw Ridley Scott's film The Duellists and was won over by its visual style.

Evoluzione

Arthur Dallas evolved from a decorated military transport commander into a weary commercial captain who acknowledged his own hesitation in making tough decisions under pressure.

Across expanded media and re-releases like the Director's Cut and Alien: Isolation, his lore was expanded from early draft concepts like 'Chaz Standard' into a multi-layered veteran who ultimately risked his life entering the Nostromo's air ducts to protect his crew. Nathan Steele underwent a major evolution from a mob hitman on the run in Chicago to the central figure and Mastermind of the Payday Gang. Spanning over a decade from PAYDAY: The Heist to PAYDAY 3, Dallas transformed from a criminal seeking a second chance into an international heist commander orchestrating high-tech bank robberies, rescuing his brother Houston, and transitioning into modern game engine upgrades and VR platforms.

LO SAPEVI?In early drafts of the Alien screenplay, Captain Dallas was named Chaz Standard.
