Cronologia
Biografia
Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli is a central hero in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2: Battle Tendency. Created by Hirohiko Araki, Caesar serves as the deuteragonist and primary ally to Joseph Joestar in their desperate battle against the ancient Pillar Men.
Trained on Air Supplena Island by the Hamon master Lisa Lisa, Caesar specializes in channeling Ripple energy through liquid soap to produce volatile, lethal bubbles.
Though his initial meeting with Joseph Joestar in Rome was defined by explosive rivalry and conflicting personalities, their intense training in Venice forged an unshakeable bond of mutual trust and brotherhood. Caesar's heroic sacrifice at the Hotel Hotel sanctuary—where he engages the Pillar Man Wamuu in a fatal duel to retrieve the poison antidote ring for Joseph—remains a pivotal emotional milestone in the series, solidifying his enduring legacy within the JoJo saga.
Storia
Born in Genoa, Italy on May 13, 1918, Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli was the son of Mario Zeppeli and the grandson of Will Anthonio Zeppeli. In 1928, when Caesar was ten years old, his father abruptly vanished without explanation.
Believing he was abandoned, Caesar drifted into Rome's criminal underworld, becoming a feared street delinquent who unwittingly relied on latent Hamon energy during violent brawls. In 1934, at age sixteen, Caesar tracked his long-lost father to the catacombs beneath the Roman Colosseum.
When Caesar unintentionally activated a trap set by the slumbering Pillar Men, Mario threw himself in front of his son, getting crushed by a stone wall without ever realizing the young man was his child. Learning that his father had abandoned his family solely to protect them from ancient evil forces, Caesar felt immense pride in the Zeppeli name and swore an oath of revenge against the Pillar Men.

Evoluzione
Caesar's evolution throughout Battle Tendency reflects a transformation from an embittered, lonely street criminal into a self-sacrificing warrior driven by honor. Following his father's sudden disappearance in 1928, ten-year-old Caesar grew resentful and violent, leading street gangs in Rome and fighting without purpose. However, witnessing Mario's unhesitating sacrifice in 1934 shattered his cynicism, instilling deep pride in his Zeppeli lineage and inspiring him to pursue Hamon mastery under Lisa Lisa.
When Caesar first met Joseph Joestar, his polished demeanor and stoic devotion to his heritage clashed with Joseph's casual, reckless behavior. Over 24 intense days of training on Air Supplena Island, their initial friction melted into unshakeable camaraderie. Caesar's ultimate sacrifice—using the final surge of his Hamon energy to create a blood bubble containing the antidote ring for Joseph—completed his journey, cementing his legacy as a hero who willingly surrendered his life for his brother-in-arms.
