BO‑KATAN KRYZE
Princess Bo-Katan Kryze of House Kryze is a legendary Mandalorian warrior, former Death Watch lieutenant, and the unifier who reclaimed Mandalore. Voiced in animation and portrayed in live-action by Katee Sackhoff, she evolved from a radical fighter into the Mand'alor who reunited her fractured people.
Cronologia
Biografia

Bo-Katan Kryze was born a princess of House Kryze on Kalevala, the homeworld of Mandalore's royal house. Rejecting the pacifist government led by her sister, Duchess Satine Kryze, Bo-Katan joined Pre Vizsla's radical Death Watch movement as his top lieutenant and commander of the elite Nite Owls unit. After Death Watch allied with Darth Maul's Shadow Collective to conquer Mandalore, Maul slew Vizsla and seized power.
Refusing to accept an alien outsider as ruler of Mandalore, Bo-Katan broke away to form a resistance, attempting to save her sister before Satine was executed by Maul. During the final days of the Clone Wars, Bo-Katan joined forces with Ahsoka Tano and Republic clone forces during the Siege of Mandalore, capturing Maul and becoming Regent of Mandalore. However, her refusal to submit to the newly declared Galactic Empire resulted in her removal from power.
She later reunited the Mandalorian clans alongside Sabine Wren and accepted the Darksaber to lead an uprising against Imperial occupation, but was eventually forced to surrender the blade to Moff Gideon during the Night of a Thousand Tears. Years later, during the New Republic era (9 ABY), Bo-Katan crossed paths with Din Djarin while seeking to reclaim her fleet and homeworld. After witnessing a living Mythosaur beneath the Living Waters of Mandalore, she earned the respect of the Armorer and united both traditionalists and her former fleet. Din Djarin formally relinquished the Darksaber to her, allowing Bo-Katan to lead a unified force that defeated Moff Gideon's remnant forces, destroyed his base, and relit the Great Forge to reignite Mandalorian civilization.
Storia

Born to Duke Adonai Kryze on the world of Kalevala, Bo-Katan grew up as royal blood alongside her sister Satine and nephew Korkie.
As a youth, she performed the sacred Mandalorian initiation ritual by bathing in the Living Waters inside the Mines of Mandalore, inheriting ancestral armor passed down through generations of Clan Kryze.
Although she treated the ritual as mere political theater at the time, her father's death defending Mandalore deeply reshaped her path. When Satine assumed leadership of the pacifist New Mandalorians, Bo-Katan separated from her sister, believing Mandalore's survival required honoring its martial past, which led her directly into Pre Vizsla's militant Death Watch movement.
I PEZZI DI BO‑KATAN KRYZE
Evoluzione
Bo-Katan Kryze undergoes one of the most dynamic character arcs in Star Wars history. She begins as a radical fanatic in Death Watch, opposing her sister's pacifist regime and carrying out violent insurgencies to restore Mandalore's warring heritage. However, when Darth Maul slays Pre Vizsla and claims the throne, her fierce pride in Mandalorian culture leads her to reject outsider Sith rule and fight for her homeworld's freedom.
Over two decades of conflict, Bo-Katan transforms from a headstrong military lieutenant into a mature political leader. Stripped of power twice—first by the Empire and later following the loss of the Darksaber during the Great Purge—she learns humility and the cost of hubris. In The Mandalorian, she moves past her previous obsession with the physical symbol of the Darksaber. By witnessing the living Mythosaur and earning the respect of both traditionalists and modern warriors, Bo-Katan transitions from a factional rebel into the unified Mand'alor who restores her homeworld.
