Cronologia
Biografia

T'Challa is the monarch of Wakanda and chieftain of the Panther Tribe, serving as the country's primary defender. Blessed by the Panther Goddess Bast and empowered by the sacred Heart-Shaped Herb, he assumed the throne after his father, King T'Chaka, was murdered during an invasion by the villainous Ulysses Klaw.
T'Challa is recognized as one of the most dangerous men alive and an unmatched political strategist who protects Wakanda's isolation and its vast reserves of Vibranium. Beyond his duties to Wakanda, T'Challa has served as a core member of the Avengers and the secret council known as the Illuminati.
Over time, the mantle of the Black Panther has also been passed to others, most notably T'Challa's brilliant younger sister Shuri, who assumed the role to defend Wakanda when T'Challa was incapacitated and following his death. The legacy of the Black Panther stretches back over a million years, connecting a long line of ancestral champions.
Storia

Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist-plotter Jack Kirby, Black Panther made his debut in Fantastic Four #52 in July 1966.
In his origin story, T'Challa invites the Fantastic Four to Wakanda to test his skills against them in combat before taking on his nemesis, Ulysses Klaw, who had slain King T'Chaka years earlier.
Wakanda had deliberately kept itself hidden from the world to protect its technological advancements, its sacred culture, and its supply of Vibranium—an extraterrestrial, kinetic-absorbing metal. Upon defeating Klaw and securing his nation, T'Challa revealed Wakanda to the world and forged alliances with international heroes, joining Captain America and the Avengers while continuously balancing his duties as a king with his responsibilities as a global protector.
Evoluzione
Since debuting in 1966, Black Panther has evolved from Marvel's landmark Black superhero into one of its core political and tactical leaders. In the 1970s, Don McGregor's 'Panther's Rage' storyline established multi-issue serialized storytelling in mainstream comics, while Jack Kirby introduced grand sci-fi concepts. In 1998, Christopher Priest's defining run reframed T'Challa as an unmatched global political chessmaster and introduced core lore elements like the Dora Milaje and Everett K. Ross.
During the 2000s and 2010s, writers like Reginald Hudlin expanded Wakandan mythos and introduced T'Challa's sister Shuri, who assumed the mantle when T'Challa was incapacitated. Subsequent runs by Jonathan Hickman and Ta-Nehisi Coates broadened T'Challa's scope to cosmic proportions, establishing him as 'King of the Dead' and head of the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda. In mainstream media, Chadwick Boseman's historic portrayal in the MCU elevated Black Panther into a global cultural phenomenon, paving the way for Shuri to carry the legacy forward.
