Cronologia
Biografia
Bellatrix Lestrange (née Black) is a primary antagonist in the Harry Potter series and Lord Voldemort's fanatically loyal 'last, best lieutenant.' Born in 1951 to Cygnus Black III and Druella Rosier, she was raised with rich pure-blood privilege and sorted into Slytherin House at Hogwarts.
She eventually became one of the first female Death Eaters, driven by an obsessive personal devotion to Lord Voldemort rather than her obligatory marriage to Rodolphus Lestrange.
Renowned for her terrifying sadism and mastery of dark magic, Bellatrix infamously tortured Aurors Frank and Alice Longbottom into permanent insanity following Voldemort's initial fall in 1981, earning a life sentence in Azkaban as Prisoner 93. After escaping during the mass breakout of 1996, she resumed her role as Voldemort's chief enforcer, participating in key battles, murdering her cousin Sirius Black and niece Nymphadora Tonks, and torturing Hermione Granger before meeting her end in a duel against Molly Weasley at the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998.
Storia
Born into the elitist House of Black in 1951, Bellatrix was raised by Cygnus Black III and Druella Rosier alongside her younger sisters, Andromeda and Narcissa.
During her time at Hogwarts (1962/1963–1970), she was sorted into Slytherin and aligned herself with a group of ambitious, dark-leaning students including Severus Snape, Evan Rosier, Wilkes, Avery, Mulciber, and Rodolphus Lestrange.
Prior to leaving Hogwarts, she cursed a shared keepsake box with powerful Dark Magic to reduce her personal childhood items to ashes. Following pure-blood family traditions, Bellatrix cut off all contact with her sister Andromeda after she married Muggle-born Ted Tonks, and held her cousin Sirius Black in utter contempt as a 'blood traitor.' She married fellow Slytherin Rodolphus Lestrange out of social duty to uphold pure-blood heritage, displaying no genuine affection for him and bearing him no children. Instead, she reserved her fanatical loyalty and romantic obsession for Lord Voldemort, who personally trained her in the Dark Arts.

Evoluzione
Bellatrix Lestrange evolved from an aristocratic pure-blood heiress into Lord Voldemort's most feared lieutenant. Raised in strict pure-blood elitism, her youth at Hogwarts laid the foundation for her dark path as she aligned herself with future Death Eaters and mastered Dark Magic. Her fanaticism led her to become one of Voldemort's first female followers, willingly committing atrocities during the First Wizarding War.
Her fifteen-year imprisonment in Azkaban as Prisoner 93 marked a critical turning point. While the Dementors hollowed out her familial beauty, captivity hardened her fanaticism rather than breaking it. Upon her escape in 1996, she emerged as an unhinged, highly volatile, and sadistic enforcer. Ultimately, her arrogant overconfidence and gloating nature proved to be her fatal flaw, leading directly to her defeat by Molly Weasley at the climax of the Battle of Hogwarts.
