Cronologia
Biografia

Garfield Mark 'Gar' Logan, primary known as Beast Boy (and formerly Changeling), is a metahuman superhero in the DC Universe defined by his signature green skin, hair, and total animal shapeshifting abilities.
Created by Arnold Drake and Bob Brown, he made his first comic book appearance in 1965. Throughout his superhero career, he has served as a pivotal member of teams such as the Doom Patrol, Titans West, The New Teen Titans, and the Titans.
Despite experiencing heavy personal loss—including the deaths of his biological and adoptive parents, severe injuries, and romantic heartbreaks—Garfield serves as the enthusiastic heart and comedic relief of his teams. Beyond his heroic antics, Gar has proven to be a formidable hero, stepping up to cosmic-level threats in major events such as 'Titans: Beast World'.
Storia

As a young child living in Africa with his scientist parents, Mark and Marie Logan, Garfield contracted Sakutia, a rare and fatal disease. To save his life, his parents treated him with an untested experimental serum derived from a green monkey.
The cure saved Garfield but permanently altered his biology, turning his skin, hair, and eyes green while granting him the ability to shapeshift into any animal.
Following his parents' tragic death in a boating accident, Garfield was taken in by a greedy guardian named Nicholas Galtry, who attempted to have Garfield killed to claim his inheritance. Garfield was eventually rescued and adopted by Doom Patrol members Rita Farr (Elasti-Girl) and Steve Dayton (Mento). Adopted into the Doom Patrol family, he took on the moniker Beast Boy and began his life as a crime-fighter.

Evoluzione
Introduced in 1965's 'Doom Patrol' #99 by Arnold Drake and Bob Brown, Beast Boy began as a witty junior member of the Doom Patrol under the care of Rita Farr and Steve Dayton. In 1980, Marv Wolfman and George Pérez reimagined him as 'Changeling' for 'The New Teen Titans', maturing his character through severe personal hardships, most notably Terra's tragic betrayal during 'The Judas Contract'.
In the late 1990s, Gar discarded the Changeling alias to permanently reclaim the name Beast Boy. During Geoff Johns' 2003 'Teen Titans' run, Gar transformed into an experienced veteran and mentor figure for younger heroes. DC's 2012 'The New 52' reboot temporarily redesigned him with red skin to tie his powers to 'The Red' animal energy field, though his classic green hue was restored in 2013. Recent storylines like 'Titans: Beast World' have elevated Gar to top-tier global hero status.
